Honestly this is the best movie I've seen in quite a while, one of my favorites. From the music, the plot, the acting, visual effects, this movie will hit you emotionally and plenty of action as well. Just buy it, 4k.

Being the massive Marvel nerd I am, I knew about Guardians of the Galaxy beforehand, however I was shocked they decided to move forward with this. Definitely one of those that was done perfectly, perfect amount of humor with some great action and dialogue. It has already made over $700 million in the box office and should be one of the best selling movies this year on home video. This is a definite day one purchase for me, and for those who did not see it, you will need to as soon as possible. You will not be disappointed and will realize why Marvel now rules the box office!

The movie isn't just for nerds. You don't even have to be an avid comic book reader to enjoy this movie. It's official James Gunn is my new Steven Speilberg. The movie is just woderful. A true spectacle. If you love good movies, you will absolutely enjoy this. Great dialog. Great cinematography. Insane special effects. The make-up used for the actors is so well done that you can believe that they actually have green, blue, pink, or purple skin. I've got nothing but love for this movie.

At first i didn't care to see this movie. At my wife's insistence i reluctantly agreed to watch it with my wife, 1 1/2 yr boy, & 4 yr girl. She thought it would be a good family movie for us to watch. WOW!!! This is a great movie! You will fall in love with the characters, funny banters, an 80's spin to it, and the music is awesome throughout the movie. Of all the Marvel movies this is my favorite. Can't wait to watch this movie any many times again!!! I highly recommend you give this movie a chance, most will love it!

I have to be honest, I was NOT going to see this movie. The first trailer lead me to believe that Marvel's winning streak was over. Boy was I wrong!! When I actually saw the movie, I loved it!! It was right up there with Captain America- Winter Soldier. This is a "must-see"! It's funny, action-packed, and the soundtrack is one of the best in recent memory. Hit #1 on iTunes charts! Buy this movie!! Guaranteed Fun!!

The first thing I should say, since Guardians of the Galaxy is not one of the better known Marvel comics, is that you don't need to have read the comics to enjoy or understand the movie. The story starts you from zero, introducing the characters with their own individual backgrounds and personalities. In some ways you may actually be better off not having read the comics as some details about the characters have been changed, both to make for a smoother, more coherent story line, and to make it fit into the broader story line laid out in the other recent Marvel films (The Avengers, Iron Man, Thor, etc) that have come before. A couple of characters from The Avengers story line make appearances here, tying the two together, but most of the characters in Guardians of the Galaxy will be completely new to movie-goers. Overall, this is what Star Wars used to be, hands down Best Movie in the MCU Roster to date, Love It!

Ok, we all know about the qualities "GotG" brought to the table. if you're buying this then you know just how insanely fun this film is. Happily, the steelbook carries on with the spirit of the movie. The decision to recreate Peter Quill's huge vintage Walkman as the case is genius level. As far as the package itself, accept no substitutes, this is the version you want to have if you're a rabid devotee of this wonderful, irreverent movie. Best Buy steelbooks are wonderful additions to any Blu ray library and they're usually priced very generously. The only caveat with this edition is that you pretty much have to pick it up on the first day of release and quite frankly you should get to the store before they open. There were about thirty people waiting outside the West LA store and just about all of them were waiting to get their mitts on this. My only complaint is a minor, First World problem. The steelbook came wrapped with thin promotional card stock that, when removed, left a ton of adhesive residue on the steelbook itself. There was so much it looked like a gorilla had sneezed on it. It was easy to take off but there was a ton of it. All told, a steal at $19.99 if you can get it.

Must watch for people who want to get into marvel without starting at the beginning
