Fans of Talladega Nights will remember that line ("Only the best movie ever"#, and hopefully be amused by the irony, that Guardians is actually pretty close to that, at least in the Sci-Fi category. What's not to love? Action, comedy, and a killer raccoon voiced by Bradley Cooper #did the casting guys immediately say "and remember, we got get Brad for the voice of Rocket"?#. Oh, and the Bluray is good too, lol.

Loved, loved, loved this film. Saw it in the theater as soon as it came out and couldn't wait to own the Blu-Ray. Taking my kids to see this was the closest I think they'll ever come to the thrill of seeing the original Star Wars movie when that came out. A fun adventure with a good balance or action, suspense, drama and laughs. The characters were so well developed. I can't wait for a sequel.

You've probably already heard but this movie is a blast! I love a good steelbook, and unlike other retailers ::cough::TARGET::cough:: this deluxe steelbook actually includes the 3D version! It's a gorgeous package, lots of extras, and you can even sign up for a free movie from Disney Movies Anywhere (wreck-it Ralph I think) when you register this one online. Very much worth it!

My sister had been wanting me to watch this movie for a couple of years but I was hesitant due to the title. I thought it sounded too cheesy. When it came on Starz I decide to give it a go and LOVED it! Never a dull scene. Chris Pratt is perfect as the lead and Bradley Cooper (Rocket) is hilarious and steals every scene he is in. I have watched it 3 times now.

This is a great movie and a must have addition for anyone who enjoys the Marvel Universe. And with its release just before Christmas, it's a great idea for a stocking stuffer!

Chris Pratt as Star Lord was a perfect fit for this fun laugh out loud sci-fi adventure with an superb sound track of vintage rock favorites! We had the whole family, cheering for the Star Lord, Groot & the gang, hoping for more in sequels to come! This is a must have for your movie library!

I was really looking forward to this being released by Marvel as it wasn't one of those safe bets with characters that many non-comic book fans world know about. This film has everything; humor, fun, drama excellent score that really helped man this film feel epic. While the villain was so-so, the main cast of Guardians of the Galaxy made this film really special.

If you're a Guardians of the Galaxy fan & collector looking for some sort of collector's edition of this movie, then this is a must have. Having searched across the web, the French limited edition with Funko POP figures sold out months ago and this particular steelbook edition has also sold out internationally. So now that Best Buy has obtained the exclusivity to sell this in the US, I would recommend any collector to check out & try getting their hands on an original copy, in-store on release day when doors open since this has also sold out online now. You can't beat the price with Best Buy! I only wish it also included the DVD to complete the combo, not just the 3D+Bluray+Digital Copy.

I went to this movie at theater with mixed feelings about how it would be. About half way through the film I was hooked. Great script, action, and fantastic film overall. I was super excited when the movie came out on disc. Even more so when it was released as a "steelbook" edition. Great movie, get it in steelbook from best buy. You won't regret it!

One of the best Marvel films and 3d that I've seen. That first scene where he's retreating the orb on that planet..man! I was amazed by how awesome it looked in 3d. That's when I knew I got my money's worth for this one lol. Do yourself a favor and buy it in 3d..if you don't like it than just slap the 2d disk that comes with it.

This movie was surprisingly good. Don't expect it to be the new Star Wars, but for a Marvel movie it was decent. The movie reminded me of "A Knight's Tale" from a soundtrack perspective. The sequel is slated for 2017.

Though full of obscure characters, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy does a great job of exploring them even for the non-comic book fan. It can tend toward the somewhat misogynist side (Gamora is called some pretty awful names), and that's of course problematic. But otherwise, it's funny, has a great soundtrack, and is overall fun.

'Guardians of the Galaxy' is the most fun I've had watching a movie in such a long time. Filled with action, comedy, and a great cast, 'Guardians' is a surprisingly great addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Can't wait to see how this story interweaves with the rest of the MCU movies. The soundtrack is pretty awesome too!

When I think about the hubby, I think about epic adventure, so what would make a better gift for him than other tales of adventure? We've watched this film many times, both in the theatre and on tv, and it's a delight to own it so we can watch whenever we want I'm not Groot- but I enjoy watching him party....

I never read the Guardians comics. Some of the characters I'd heard of through other titles but not the team. I was wary at first because, how can Marvel come close to what they did with X-men and the Avengers? They nailed it! Watched it twice in as many days. Great action and plenty of laughs...can't wait for the next one!

I saw this movie in theaters in 3D. It was amazing! So when they were releasing it on 3D bluray I had to preorder it. The movie is one of best marvel movies been made. The story is great and its action pack. The 3D of it is awesome and brings a lot more to the movie experience. If you are a marvel fan you will enjoy this.

This is an excellent translation of the comic for new fans, for those of us who knew the characters already it was a dream come true. The movie is awesome and looks and sounds excellent on blu ray. You really need to watch in 3d to appreciate the films beauty . If you're a marvel fan make sure this is in your collection.

This is one of my favorite movies from this year. I guess it's my kind of movie. I just enjoy it. Also the 3D version is good because they did a good job on the 3D. The steelbook is pretty cool it's like his cassette player. Won't spoil the movie, but I recommend it though I know not everybody will like what I like.

Hopefully you already know how wonderful this movie is. What sets this release apart is the Best Buy exclusive steelbook packaging, designed to look like a cassette player (which is a key item in the film). It genuinely does look like a cassette player, and the design is great. However, I'm deducting one star because the title of the film is not printed on either spine of the steelbook. So if you store your movies with the spine showing, as I'm guessing most people do, you'll have to remember what this movie is, because the case doesn't say! Seems like a major oversight, and should have been added.

Guardians of the Galaxy is a fun Marvel movie. It looks great on Bluray and Digital HD. The steelbook was quite hard to find, but I am glad to be able to add it to my collection. I wish it had the title on the spine of the steelbook, but I understand why it is missing (to look like an actual tape player).
