This is hands down, one of my favorite movies of all time. It has a little bit of everything: comedy/action/great narrative. If you're a big fan of this movie, I suggest getting this steelbook. It's sleek looking and the cassette player design is pretty clever. Any Marvel fans/collectors need to get this.

Being more of an X-men fan, I wasn't sure what to expect with Guardians of the Galaxy, but the film was hilarious. The steelbook version case itself is very nice, with the exception of the fact that it doesn't have any labeling on the spine (thus difficult to pick out of the traditional media rack).

This is a belated review for an awesome movie - one of my favorite Marvel movies thus far! I loved it when I saw it in theaters and knew I had to buy it when it hit the store shelves. The quirky previews left the feeling this movie would either be awesome or suck...thankfully, it is awesome.

This is an all time must have for sci-fi movie collectors it has it all a great story , great picture quality , great special effects , great cast.

I loved this movie in the theatre so I had to preorder. First off, love the packaging. The steelbook shaped like a cassette player is sweet. The content of the movie is pretty good too. Love the deleted scenes and the commentary. Overall, I would highly recommend this steelbook version.

In my opinion this has been the best Marvel movie produced to date. Do yourself a favor and go watch the movie if you haven't. The 3D blu-ray combo is overpriced though. Thank God I bought it while it was on sale and I was able to use my $10 Best Buy Rewards coupon.

It's the galactic bomb! When I saw the effects and action of this movie, I was blown away! It's forced comedy which is hilarious. It's one of the greatest since Star Wars and Star Trek. Still, nothing beats Star Wars. I was amazed of how Rocket Raccoon looks. He looks so real.

This was Marvel's best effort of the year! The action is awesome and will keep you on the edge of your seat. It also has some genuine comedic moments that make it the most quotable film of the year. Chris Pratt is a star! If you're a fan of Marvel, this won't disappoint.

I watched this film not knowing this was based off a comic book, and I was really surprised at how imaginative it is. So many unique characters, and I couldn't stop saying "I am Groot" by the end of the movie. Great special effects and CGI, love the futuristic environments!

Without knowing much about Guardians of the Galaxy, I went in with little hopes. This movie blew me out of the water. Another great additions to the MCU. It has action, drama, and comedy to keep everyone attached to the movie. Chris Pratt was fantastic. I AM GROOT!!!!

This is a fun movie. Good humor mixed with some nice action. Some allusions to other Marvel character films (Avengers, etc) will appeal to fans. The steelbook case just makes it that much cooler. Even if you can't get the special edition the film itself is worth it.

Fantastic looking case, I collect steelbook cases, and this is one of the more unique ones that I've picked up in the past year or so. Blu-ray quality is top notch, the 3-D looks sharp & clear, sound quality is through the roof. My only reason for giving 4/5 stars is that the spine of the case was damaged in the shipping process, but hey, that happens sometimes, nothing a little flexible tape-fabric can't fix. Makes it look even more like a used cassette tape! :) Overall, great collectors item, well worth the price.

Do not hesitate buying this movie!!! I have watched it a hundred times great every time! Marvel did it again with this one. Chris Pratt showed he is an amazing actor! He took his humble role in parks and rec and turned it into this role that will make his career!

Like every movie that seems to be released recently GotG has its sights set on being a new franchise. A ragtag team of misfits have assembled to save the universe because noone else seems capable of doing so. The movie takes itself less seriously than other Marvel movies, and that is a good thing in this case. The pacing is decent, the action good, and it mixes in enough backstory to get people hooked while leaving people leaving a bit more. It is a pulp superhero film, but on that is done decently well.

Hello, I have bought some #D movies in past and some were so so. (Blurry) Guardians of the Galaxy in 3D on my 65” is impressive. Items popping out of screen even my boys said, “this is best 3D movie you have”. Movie is funny and good for kids and grown ups.

One of my son's very favorite movies and one that I never mind watching with him .. because I enjoy the soundtrack so much. Bought through BestBuy's pick up in store option. I had it in my hands that afternoon and at a very good price. Thanks BestBuy

Fantastic special effects. Not your usual superhero movie. I really like the fact that the movie doesn't take itself very seriously. This is all about entertainment. No arty-farty pretentious "I want to win an award" bs. Just good fun.

A different type of Superhero approach, and I really enjoyed it. Great blend of comedy, action and even emotion. I dont think they could have picked better actors for these roles. Highly Recommend this movie, and the Bluray looks and sounds fantastic.

This is without a doubt the best movie marvel has put out so far. The characters are well developed and have amazing chemistry together. And the world they inhabit is dense with details that you wont catch on your first watch but doesn't feel crowded.

I went to see guardians of the galaxy last night and wow! i totally loved it. an entertaining science fiction opus, guardians of the galaxy succeeds because the characters are so likeable, and they propel the awesome visual effects. Had to buy the DVD
