Average film, great presentation
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.While Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 fails to impress in the way of a unique script/memorable story, it is made up for in terms of the film's visual effects. This film is absolutely wonderful to watch. The detailing and amount of color is spectacular. And if you are able to get your hands on the copy with the 3D disc (and you have the capability to watch 3D), it is most definitely worth picking up and watching in 3D. It's some of the studio's best live-action 3D to date - there are quite a few more shots which 'break the screen' and overall depth is impressive. Not to mention that the 3D version also includes the IMAX expanded variable aspect ratio for certain scenes whereas the 2D versions (4K and regular blu-ray) do not. Overall, a top-notch Marvel release worth picking up.

Fun characters but not kid friendly

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just the first movie and the new Spiderman reboot, marvel is pushing the rude and raunchy, and unnecessary sex talk into the main or side plots of the script. Humor should be witty, subtle, and clever - just like the way Stan Lee wrote the dialog in the comics in the 1960s, rather than to keep lowering the standard like everyone else. Bring back the quality that was in the first Captain America movie - don't be a DC rip off.
