On par with the rest of the MCU!!! A no brainer to buy!!

Set to the all-new sonic backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, Marvel Studios’ “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mystery of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favourite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to expand.

Like the summary says look out Empire strikes back a new sequel that's better than the original has finally came out to a new generation. This movie has it all emotion, action and surprises I love this film because it does not repeat all it's gimmicks from the first has a fresh new story that I recommend this because it's a family film that everyone will enjoy and I has great bonus features and if you get the steel book it's definitely a "collectible to have on your shelf"

Not as funny as the first one, but still pretty funny.

You can watch Guardians of the Galaxy 1 and 2 without bothering about any of the other Marvel movies. Isn't that nice? This second volume had plenty of fun moments, some predictable moments, and lots and lots of very pretty rainbow effects. It was so 1980s to see that many bright colors, seriously. I loved it! It's a longer movie, but at no point was I looking at my watch or fidgeting. Bring on the music, bring out the popcorn! Watch this one when you need some colors.

You have to see Guardians first, then this sequel, in order to put it together and not ruin the story line. That said, if you can watch both in 4K you won't regret the experience, especially this one. The graphics are incredible and the images jump off the screen - and the bigger the screen, the better. Truly enjoyed watching this one in 4K just for the graphics content and picture quality alone.

Not as good as the first one. Great soundtrack tho

This movie has probably the cutest character ever conceived. Baby Groot is adorable and perfect. Everything about him is perfect. The rest of the movie is great as well! There are loads of funny jokes, characters have much more depth, and the chemistry between everyone is great. Let's not forget the incredible, incredible music in this as well. I liked this better than the first, but I think it may be just a slight tick below Thor Ragnarok in terms of humor.

This movie is like a group of friends trashing each other during a bowling tourney. The magic of the Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is the interaction between the characters (much like the new Star Trek movie series with Chris Pine). The chemistry between everyone is FANTASTIC. I was a little disappointed with Kurt Russell's Ego character, but he was solid. It is like playing a roleplaying game in space. A must have for everyone's collection. Looking forward to #3.

Watching it with family. Lots of fun. Great music.

The first GOTG was amazing. It was fresh and fun. It took itself just seriously enough unlike many other Sci-Fi films of today. It channels the campy and entertaining sci-fi of the past. This one, in many ways, surpasses the first. It doubles down on the things that made the first film work and adds an extra dimension. It explores the relationship between Gamora and Nebula closer than the first film which provides some extra depth to the characters.

James Gunn just gets how to make an entertaining Guardians of the Galaxy movie, it would seem. Most will either rate this entry as either slightly better, or slightly worse, than Guardians #1, which either way, means this is an excellent film. If you're a fan of the Marvel movies, and a fan of Guardians #1, you will most likely thoroughly enjoy this film. Also, thank you Disney for finally giving us a 4k/HDR Marvel film. Please keep them coming!

Having just purchased a new 4K TV and a 4K Blue-ray player, I wanted something to make use of this new equipment. I'll admit that there are not that many movies that I enjoy so much that I want to be able to watch them over and over. However, the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise is one of them. Watching this 2nd in the series in 4K was like watching all over again for the first time. I hope to soon do the same with the original movie.

It’s not bad. The type of movie that you can enjoy if you don’t nitpick. However, read the next paragraph if you do. Action sequences are great but there aren’t many. The cgi is spotty at times. I must say the music isn’t as good as GOTG1.

While the artwork on this steelbook is not as good as the first Guardians movie, the construction of it is consistent with others I have purchased and doesn't feel like it'll fall apart. I like this one with all its discs because they're easier to take out than the ones with only one disc for some reason. The picture and sound quality on the blu ray are great and the 3d is great to finally view as I was unable to see it in theaters.

Guardians of The Galaxy Volume 2 is a great follow up to the 1994 original. As the Guarfians realize they have become a family Peter Quill finds out that his father, Ego is alive and has been looking for him for several years. Ego(Kurt Russell) reveals to Quill his true lineage and the ramifications it may hold for the Galaxy. Best Buy exclusive 4K, Blu Ray 3D, Blu Ray and Digital copy makes this a must purchase for Marvel fans

I love watching movies on my LG OLED 4k 3D TV, but usually have to decide between the 3D (upscaled to 4K) or the 2D in native UHD. This boxed set includes both, so I can watch the amazing 3D presentation or the rich details and deep colors of the UHD version. I wish more studios would include both versions so we don't have to decide which to buy but rather which to watch. Well worth the money for this excellent box set.

I didn’t like Guardians of The Galaxy Volume 2 will topple Volume 1 but it really did. The movie expanded on the characters & made us cry once again! Lovely visual, beautiful soundtrack, fun banter & chemistry between the oddball team only Director James Gunn can handle! Two thumbs way up!

Excellent film! Highly entertaining film that wife, kids and myself could all equally enjoy. Intentionally waited on Best Buy Steelbook edition to arrive to purchase and include in my film library. Best Buy should seriously offer Steelbook option for EVERY Blu-ray as this is the most durable casing any retailer offers. BEST BUY: I will gladly pay more for STEELBOOKS, why are you not offering this for sale FOR EVERY BLU-RAY?
