After reviewing the original earlier, I want to say this sequel is every bit as entertaining and visually stimulating. These charactor are diverse and play well off one another. Kurt Russell was a surprise, (When viewed at theatre). Could not have been happier when Blu-Ray credits rolled. Fun and visually pleasing. What more can we ask for ? Get em both and make an evening of, (S.E.),,,Spacial-Escapism

There's definitely a lot of daytime Soap Opera moments between the characters, but a lot of the family issues seem organic and do add to the story. Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is not as fun or as novel as the first movie, but focuses more on the character dynamics and developing the relationships from the first movie. It's a simple story about family and belonging, but still a fun movie overall.

The Guardians of the Galaxy are back with #2. This is a really good movie with its wit, action and plot lines. The characters are still in good form reprising their role from the first movie, Unfortunately it doesn't quite stack up to the first Guardians of the Galaxy. Sequels rarely do. But it is still a movie worth watching especially since you need the plot line to follow other Marvel movies.

Quite frankly, I LOVED THIS FLICK! if anything, it helped "flesh out" the characters so we understood them a little more. Kurt Russell as "Star Lord's" Father was perfect casting. Rocket and "Grootling" naturally "steal the show". No "spoilers", but this "installment" opened the door for at least THREE MORE potential sequels. You'll have to see the movie for yourself to agree or disagree.

I was lucky enough to get one. If you ever see the 4K & 3D steelbook combo pack for $34.99 again, don't think twice. Grab one while you can. This movie is worth every penny. The story is great, funny and the 3D visuals are jaw dropping beautiful. I rewind the chapters many times just to enjoy the 3D visuals. I see myself watching this movie again and again. I just can't get enough of it.

While a departure from what made the first movie great, I enjoyed the continued character development as well as the introduction of new characters. The all-star cast each gets a chance to play their role in the larger Marvel universe and the use of songs for this particular series of films is what sets it apart from the other Marvel movies. Another great movie from Marvel, recommended.

Steelbooks rock! And for our first 4k movie we bought the film the whole family enjoys which is Guardians of the Galaxy volume two! What else can you say but I AM GROOT. I've mentioned deaths before the best buy steel books are the coolest way to package a dvd or blu ray. And the art work is top notch. The film is a blast, with action humor. Highly recommend as Groot steals the show.

Marvel back at it again! Peter Quill and his fellow Guardians are hired by a powerful alien race, the Sovereign, to protect their precious batteries from invaders. When it is discovered that Rocket has stolen the items they were sent to guard, the Sovereign dispatch their armada to search for vengeance. As the Guardians try to escape, the mystery of Peter's parentage is revealed.

The original is still my fav but the sequel is a great addition to my library. Saw it for the first time on DVD. Very seldom do I come across a film that my husband, my eight year-old son, and I can all agree to sit and watch. I purchased the soundtrack long before seeing the film. Soundtrack is also great.

As a fan of the first Guardians, I don't believe this movie was on the same level as the first. It's visually stunning but can sometimes overpower the scenes. The retro music wasn't quite as good as the first movie. All in all, still a solid performance. Obviously there's a lot more storylines these characters can play out and I'll will be waiting for a third installment. I am hoping this movie is the calm before the proverbial storm which could play out in 3rd and or 4th movie. Also, I would love to see these characters in a cross-over movie with the Avengers... bound to happen. Bottom line - Worth the watch and I don't regret the purchase

This movie got better from the time I saw it in the movie theater to the time I watched it on blu-ray. At first I liked it, but thought it missed the mark compared to the first movie. I no longer feel that way, its just got a little bit different of a feel to it. To be honest I'm glad that it's a little different. In my opinion Marvel's best movies are Guardians 1 and 2.

Though most people seem to feel that Vol. 2 is good but doesn't quite live up to the first Guardians, I really feel that James Gunn delivered another film that was just as fantastic. The humor and chemistry comes naturally for this cast, and it's all mixed in really well with some incredibly emotional moments. The cover and internal art for the steelbook also looks great.

The movie itself is stellar and one of the finest of the MCU. In terms of the 4K presentation, it looks stunning on a great 4K tv, and makes it well worth purchasing on 4K UHD Blu-Ray, even if you have a Disney+ Subscription. Nothing beats 4K quality on a disc.

In many ways I thought this was even better than the original GoG.. Excellent special effects and strong story line with plenty of action and humor. The Blu-ray version looks great on a large screen TV. I like that this product also includes a separate DVD and a code for a digital copy so you can watch it away from home or where you don't have access to a Blu-ray player.

I've really enjoyed this movie! Was excited to hear about this 4K & 3D release knowing that it was going to be a incredible transfer. It's a good presentation but was expecting more in regards of the 4K version, I've felt it could of been a bit sharper in terms of the details and a bit more vibrant in the colors. The sound was good but was expecting more of a punch, quite a few times the volume was a bit low and founded myself turning it up. The steelbook art was not as cool looking as the regular 4K box. But overall this is a good release and anyone who is a fan of this movie and is interested in the quality its a decent buy.

If you redeem your digital code at VUDU after 9/9/17, it will give you the UHD copy. If you redeemed prior to that date, call Disney and they will give you an UHD copy over the phone. I enjoyed this movie at the theaters, and I think I had more laughs than the first movie. Both visual and audio quality if good, but I wouldn't put this 4K movie up there as any reference disc.

This is a winning combination for those of you that Collect Steel books, as I do. I bought this the day it was released and picked up in store. This ended up being a great deal, Disney is now redeeming the digital copy in UHD as well, instead of HD as they originally did. Officially this is Now Disney's first physical 4k movie and their First Digital 4K UHD release as well.

I really enjoyed watching this movie all over again! The movie was one of those movies that makes you believe that you are a part of a fantastic world that enthralls and intrigues your mind like only a few have! A science fiction epic that was as good as the first! The steelbook was also very nice and I was glad I found a 3d version of the film. All in all a good purchase!

The movie is a delight for adults, teens, and older children, although some thematic material may be unsuitable for younger children. Nonetheless, it is a witty story filled with the requisite bombast and pyrotechnics but more importantly about love, forgiveness, and acceptance on one's self discovery and the friend's made along the way. A good way to spend a family night!

This movie is best seen in 3D. Fact! Face it, Big Business will make you pay through the nose for a movie in 3D, but not allow the customer to purchase it. (Except in this case, where Best Buy has the only game in Town!!) It picks up where the first left off. A wonderful romp in the Marvel Universe. A worthy sequel and an extension of the story. Can't wait for the next.
