Loved this movie. Great fun, music and characters.

Love this series and so happy with my purchase....

Definitely not as good as the first but nonetheless another fun movie to watch. The character development that takes place is amazing.

This is for those people who enjoy these movies and want to have the DVD. Otherwise download and store on your computer or in the cloud.

Some sequels don't measure up to the first movie in a series. And the first Guardians is a tough act to follow. But the writers, director, producters, cast, et al pulled it off in spades! Guardians Volume 2 is a good movie. Yes, the squables between characters can get a bit overworked, drawn out, and over played. However, when the characters you have are in the situation they are in and they aren't really "get along" types of folks in the first place...well, the only problem was with the writing. At least that was my take on what seemed to be too many folks problems with the movie. I'm hoping the writers, staff, and actors are able to get the whole vibe of the "Guardian's Crew" dialed in for the next installment of this fun series!

Props to Best Buy for being the only (known) U.S. retailer that offered this flick in a package that included a 3D Blu-ray disc. While the format is pretty much dead, I continue to have equipment that can play it and it is nice to have the extra disc included along with the UHD and traditional Blu-ray disc. Now, on to the film... Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2, attempts to recreate the magic of the first Guardians of the Galaxy - a movie that surprised many, including me, as being just the right mix of humor and action, with a touch of nostalgic tunes thrown in for good measure. Guardians V2 tries to follow that same formula, and in many ways, lives up to the bar that was set by its predecessor, but at the same time, for me it doesn't quite get there. Don't get me wrong, Guardians V2 is good, nearly excellent (or perhaps actually is excellent, but doesn't touch that A+ rating or 5 star rating) but is just a bit below perfect for me. Guardians V1 and Deadpool take that spot for me in the area of comic book movies. Toss in Wonder Woman too as that film was really good (I really hope that the Blu-ray release of that is not screwed up in any way). Those films set the mark so high that beating them just isn't that easy. I appreciate that Guardians, V2 moves the story along and sets us up for more adventure in the Marvel Comics Universe.

Another great movie with a great price. Black Friday deal makes this even sweeter. Movie is a must watch if you are a fan of the MCU

Liked the movie. Movie provides more background for each character while supplying great action . Enjoyed watching it.

To start, I didn't think that it was as good as the first.. just my opinion. BUT if you loved the first movie, like I did then you will probably soon become addicted to the sequel. The movie is a little "darker" and adult oriented which is cool, but it didn't stick with me as much as the first one that I went to twice in theaters.. I still enjoyed it and after watching it 3 to 4x I was back at the same feeling of loving it as much as the first one, it just took a few times to get me to that point unlike the first movie that I left the theater wanting "more". Soundtrack is very memorable though which is great that you can listen to it and remember just which part of the movie that the song was played in.

It's a good movie, well produced. A movie that you'd recommend to a friend. I personally think it's better than the 1st movie.

Not quite as good as the original but better than most SyFy / Comic sequels. Music selections remain perfect accompanyment.

While not as good as the first, Guardians Vol. 2 is still a fantastic addition to the MCU. Never a dull moment in this movie.

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (GG2) is the sequel to the first Guardians of the Galaxy film. This film follows the adventures of the heroes as they encounter a new galactic threat. GG2 is very character-growth focused sequel (a la Two Towers was for Lord of the Rings) as each character is given an individual goal or challenge for character development. The humor in GG2 is, I believe, much better than that in the first film. Drax especially shines in his new comedic role, and Baby Groot steals the spotlight in every scene he participates in. GG2 ties up a few loose ends from the first film and sets the stage for future adventures for the heroes. I highly recommend this to all Marvel and comic book fans.

We love the Avengers movies and this was a great price at $19.99 for a Blu-Ray/DVD combo, including the digital copy.

Man, is this a thrill ride of a movie! I won't go into plot details, but the picture on this wow!!! The digital copy (via VUDU with HDX) picture quality is really good, the standard bluray is great, the 4K is also great (the picture is an upconvert from a 2K digital intermediate despite being shot on 8K equipment) but the 3D is amazing! The depth, colors, details and some popouts make this one a winner and demo worthy! The sound is just as good (An Atmos or DTS:X option would've been amazing) and the extras are really good, but ever since Disney purchased Marvel the extras have been lacking in depth and quantity. All in all, a worthy disc, especially the 3D!

I liked this movie and see the need for it to exist to push the story line along but Vol 1 was better in my opinion.

Hay now i got a player to match my tv and 4K is just great , not as good for me as 3d but you can't have both yet . Hopefully in a few more years 3D will return and if in 4K or better it will knock my sox off again ! I have friends i share movies with so it will get passed around and some just have to get a copy for themselves after they see mine , so any guests they have can be entertained , and this is one that they had to buy after seeing mine . Who can argue with the special effects ? The cast ! The writers ! All great !

I was very worried that I wouldn't be able to purchase this 4K/3D Steelbook as Pre-Order wasn't working leading up to the release date. Luckily, I added the item to my cart in the early hours of the morning on the day of and was able to pick this up at my local store. The 4K presentation is gorgeous and a great first foray into the format for Disney. Likewise, the 3D disc is outstanding, especially with the inclusion of the IMAX scenes and the picture opening up to fill the screen. The 4K version features an audio explosion with Dolby Atmos, while the 3D disc contains DTS-HD which is a step below the Atmos soundtrack, yet still very immersive. Very highly recommended!

Alrighty okay then now this movie is a must-have especially in the Steelbook version that's a very limited edition because it's also in Ultra 4K Blu-Ray/Blu-Ray Combos, but any Marvel movie deserves to be owned in 3D because the special effects are awesome great super fantastic very cool and this being a sequel it's just as great as the 1st one plus it's a 3rd movie being made as well I highly recommend this movie to see/watch buy/purchase so go now!
