I was happy to hear that bestbuy was carrying the limited edition steel book and had them on sale for a third of the cost that amazon was charging. We had the need to get the 3D version along with the standard blu-ray and 4k versions and they are all included in this set along with a digital copy... Score! The movie itself is a sci-fi classic to me and a must have purchase. I am glad I got it while it was still available.

When I saw this film in the theater in 3D, I felt it was even better than the first film and I wanted to get it as soon as it came out in 3D blu-ray. Now studios are releasing fewer films in 3D and if a film is released in 3D in the theater, it still may not see a 3D blu-ray release. This Best Buy release is the only place to get the film in 3D blu-ray. Unfortunately the quantity is limited so get your copy while you can.

Even better than the first! I wasn't sure they'd be able to make it better than Vol. 1, but they did. There is so much heart in this movie that you don't even notice until you have the pouty lower lip claiming there's dust in the room. A talking tree, a trash panda, a bunch of aliens, a blue guy with a red mowhawk, even the Hoff, the movie has it all. Short of a few choice words, it's a great time for the whole family.

Thank you for releasing this - although lots of 3D fans are upset that the 3D disc was only released in this limited edition release, having the option for a 4k/3d combo is ideal for consumers who are interested in both formats. The 3D is really incredible, and the HDR on the 4k disc is nice. Movie was solid, although not quite as good as the first. It was shipped in a box so the steelbook arrived in flawless condition.

The first Guardians was a wonderful addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With this second film, James Gunn truly outdoes himself. If the first film helped the Guardians become a family, the second movie demonstrates the struggles of staying together as a family. Filled with great comedy, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is a movie you need to watch in anticipation of the upcoming Avengers 4: Infinity War.

For most movies, sequels usually see a less developed story and worst character development. Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 does not fall into those traps. It starts off first and does a great job of developing even deeper characters than the first. My only downside to this movie, is the development of Drax's character, he may be a bit too silly. Hopefully this will be as far as Drax goes into the silliness realm.

GOTG 2 is another great entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Tons of humor, tons of eye popping action, and all the characters you love make a come back. This chapter of the Guardians story has Star-Lord looking for his father, while the rest of the crew is trying to find their place in their team family. Looks fantastic on 4k as well with all the colorful planets and ships that are on display. Really impressed!

I'm not going review the movie. Either you enjoyed Guardians 2 or you didn't. However I will review the disk. The presentation is excellent! The vibrant colors and range is fantastic on these disks. Visual fidelity I only wish was present in a 3D theater projection can be had on your own TV at home. I wish there was more commentary from the cast but there are some fun special features to be had otherwise.

Most sequels (with a few exceptions) never live up to the first film. However this Vol. 2 movie comes very close to the original. It is a thoroughly enjoyable film and baby Groot is fun. The first movie established the characters and they are all back in this sequel. I really enjoyed baby Groot and the raccoon steals the scenes he's in. The film is a great mixture of action and comedy. Looking forward to Vol. 3.

While not as good as the first film, this is a completely worthy follow up and great in nearly every way. A little heavy on the exposition at times, but beyond that, a ton of fun with characters we have all come to know and love. As a bonus, Best Buy has this exclusive 3D steelbook available, and I would not have it any other way. Love the steelbook artwork, and the 3D is a must own for Guardians Vol. 2.

This has to be one of the best 4K movies out there. Im not going to talk about the movie itself, its amazing. The quality of the 4K here is outstanding. I think this is demo material. Super clean and absolutely no grain whatsoever anywhere is present. Depth is also present without needed 3D. Some inside scenes arent as crisp as outside scenes. Since this movie is mostly CGI, this is where the 4K really shines.

This was a fantastic movie in 3D and I'm glad "D" included to 4K disc as well. This is Demo worthy 3D to show off how to your faily and friends the effectiveness of the home 3D experience. It's a shame that the industry is killing off 3D and promoting 4K, which does not enhance the movie experience like a solid 3D production. It's very easy for me to choose the format I will watch this movie and 4K is not it!

Not as surprising as the first movie since all the characters are now well-established, but still many hilarious moments. Definitely need to see vol. 1 to get the most out of the references though. Good addition to your collection if you already have the first movie.

great movie with excellent colors. no 3d option but great to see them all back again. little groot stole the show. I think I reviewed the first movie as this one but it looks great too. I bought them at the same time. I preferred to open the package as opposed to digital . Although I love renting movies on my apple tv. opening the movie case is always great. Excellent movie and great colors on my samsung tv.

Okay, I definitely wanted this movie after viewing on a plane ride from Saint Louis back to Lacey Washington where I reside. This was way funnier than the first one and even though a lot of people didn't like the Kurt Russell Character playing EGO the Living Planet, that was so overshadowed by all the great scenes and wonderful music that was placed throughout. Just buy the movie, you won't be disappointed.

Now that we know & love the characters introduced in VOL 1, we find the Guardians mixed up in some pretty hilarious situations. A LOT of questions that were raised in VOL 1, are answered in VOL 2. They are.... well, you'll just have to buy it and see. No cheating. 4K is the best, better than the theater because you have subtitles, which frankly, sometimes I really need. It helps you catch those....nuances.

Sequels are sometimes not up to par with the original but Guardians of the Galaxy 2 was a great follow up to the original. It has an excellent story line with the action you want and a lot of the unanswered questions from the first movie answered. There are laughs and tears to be had and you will definitely enjoy this movie. I cannot wait for the ride at Epcot to open for this movie franchise. A must buy!

I admit I didn't think they could come up with enough new material to make this second movie interesting. My thanks to the writers and everyone involved with this sequel. It's hilarious fun, and had plenty of twists and turns to make it well worth watching. The actors equate to their characters very well. Now, I'm wondering what they'll come up with in what I assume will be a 3rd installment down the road.

The UHD presentation is absolutely stunning when paired with appropriate equipment. I own an LG 65C7P and the Oppo 203 and was blown away. This is an absolute reference disc for video and audio demonstrations. The color and contrast really pop on this UHD presentation. The Dolby Atmos soundtrack will envelope your listening environment with sound you can feel. A must own for video and audio enthusiasts.

“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” opens with a franchise-defining credit sequence. As an incredibly expensive CGI battle unfolds in the background, the camera stays on an adorable Baby Groot, dancing to ELO’s “Mr. Blue Sky.” This is a series more about whimsy, excitement and family than it is “things that go boom,” and that’s what really separates in the Marvel Cinematic Universe right now.
