I actually think this is better than the first movie, and it will unexpectedly make you cry.

It's not as good as the first, but it's still good. The opening sequence is the best though.

The movie overall was good but I still thought the first one was better than the second one.

No. But honestly, that would be asking a lot. It's still funny, with a good amount of heart.

Good all round movie, but I feel they failed the excitement of the first Guardians movie

The movie is exceptional, capturing a fantastic blend of comedy, action, and meaningful character development. The movie is on par with its predecessor in most facets, and supersedes it in terms of visual brilliance. This steel book set provides the optimal viewing experience of the film with both 4K and 3D versions included. 4k HDR is vibrant with colors that pop and details that look as sharp as any other film. The 3D has great depth and creates an incredible sense of immersion. The collectible steel book is excellent as expected and looks great in a collection on display.

Compared to the other second acts in the MCU (Iron Man 2, Thor Dark World, Captain America Winter Solider, Avengers: Age of Ultron), this one at least comes very close to the magic of its original and isn't a clearly inferior followup. Well done James Gunn. Great special effects and the opening scene is awesome. Baby Groot steals most of the scenes he's in but is adorable. If only Drax didn't laugh hysterically at things that aren't that funny, it would be near perfect (but his somber reflection scene maybe seems more real seeing him at both extremes of the emotional spectrum.)

I am collecting all of the marvel related movies..Lots of laughs with this Guardians...

Ran a bit long towards the end, but still love all of the characters. Entertaining

Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 is a good movie for anyone looking for a good laugh.

A very good Marvel film with great story and cast as well. Collection worthy for sure.

I will only be reviewing the SteelBook since the contents are the same as other releases. Although expensive, this SteelBook is more elaborate than other SteelBooks that have been released recently at the same or similar price point. This one has art inside the case as well as a textured front cover, something that not many SteelBooks have. Besides being expensive, the other reason why I am not giving it full marks is because my copy was missing some paint from the corner. Other copies I saw in-store also had missing paint and/or dents. The main reason I, and many others, purchase the more expensive SteelBook releases is because of the case itself. Since we're paying more specifically for the case, it is unacceptable that they should be damaged. Whether this is due to the manufacturer or the Best Buy employees, something needs to be done about this issue. Almost every SteelBook I've purchased from Best Buy in the past year (roughly 1 per month) has had some sort of damage to it.

You know what you are getting with the Guardians of the Galaxy 2 - this movie franchise makes no pretenses other than being its own brand of good, fun entertainment. I mean that in the most positive sense. I look forward to the next Guardians of the Galaxy movies, just like I looked forward to the release of each Van Halen album back in the late 70s / early 80s. You loved the first album and each album after it. You didn't want them to change the formula, they didn't, and you were a grateful for it. Same thing with the Guardians of the Galaxy movies - keep 'em coming!!

Not as good as the original but still a fun ride. A worthy successor to the first one.

I liked it as well as the first one though the part with his dad was a bit weird.

I was forced into buying this version but because I wanted the 3D version as i saw it in the theater. However I don't' understand what the big deal is about with the "steel books" and the limited way that best buy only issued such a small amount of them with such heavy advertising. Also I have no u use for the 4K at this point. The film is fairly good in the series 8 out of 10. However it is not as good as the first film. But it is a movie that should be watched in 3D since a lot of the special effects are designed for it & they don't come through in the 2D version.

Movie is great to see on 4k, outstanding colors make this movie enjoyable.

The sound track wasn't as good as the original, but the story line was still great

The second Movie is always hard to follow the 1st Movie, but this one comes close!!!

More fun than the first but lacks in quality. Still worth owning and watching
