They are poorly made and broke quick they did block the light good but the yellow tint made games look a bit silly. The plastic arms are super poorly made!

These glasses snapped in half upon opening the arms, I had to contact customer service for a dispute as the return policy deemed this product damaged . $60.00 dollars not well spent.

The frame of the glasses contains very flimsy material. On the other hand the lenses actually helped a lot.

Great glasses. If you hunch over an play to feel like you are more in the action then these are perfect for you. They will help you stop doing that, and save your neck and back from terrible posture. I have neck and back problems already and I'm trying to fix that. These are my first step. Old way of gaming - Hunched forward on a chair, elbows on knees/thighs. Result - Bad posture, stretched back muscles, sore knees/thighs, etc New way of gaming with gunnars-comfortable sitting position, no more knees on elbows Result-no more back pain. If you have an average sized head, they will be a little tight. to me, that's okay. It's not too bad. One thing I'll point out, people say they don't like these cause they change the color. I think the color change is no big deal. I had the color tone setting on my sumsung tv at "warm 1", Since using these, I have my color tone to "standard" and it is great. yes, the yellow tint changes color, but think about any pair of sunglasses you'd buy, those change the color tone of everything as well. After playing with these for a few hours, I tried without the glasses. First thought is, "why did I wait so long to buy these." It brings out so much detail. I looked at the grass and trees in the game, you can see more definition behind the stalks of grass and leaves on the tree. You can see so much more detail with these glasses on.

    It does work!

I was very unsure about the effectiveness about these glasses especially for the price, but I have been having issues with eye fatigue and wanted to see if this product really would work. I picked them up because they were on sale and I had a 10 dollar rz cert, so i got them for 40, but asked my friend/ BB employee Adam at store 408 (I love this guy) and he said, "if your buying them because you think the image will be so much better!, then they might not be worth it" I said, I'm buying them because I have issues with sore eyes, and stiff neck, and he replied, "then you will certainly see a big difference." And boy have I, I thoroughly enjoy these glasses, I think I look like a giant nerd because of the frames, but lets face it, i spend a ton of time in front of a computer, so technically I am a giant nerd. You will notice a difference in lighter tones, like light grey and the like, but most other colors will remain the same. I also noticed it takes the edge off of games that appear too sharp. Far Cry 3 looks so sharp it was bothering my eyes, which was the main reason I bought these, and afterwards it looks much better and doesn't make me feel nauseated while playing that game for awhile. If this pair breaks, I'm buying more, but maybe in a more fashionable frame, I bought this style because it was cheapest, if you are on the fence, go with this cheaper style until you discover how great that are.

Fantastic for gamers, computer guys like me...

I bought these glasses due to the fact that I spend 12+ hours per day in front of a digital screen. I work full time for a website design firm in tech support so spend easily 8-12 hours in front of a PC at work, at home I'm either using my MacBook, my iPad or looking at my iPhone... not to mention I regularly play Halo 4, Madden 13 and Call of Duty on Xbox 360 (looking at a 42" plasma)... needless to say, I have regularly dry eyes, headache and eye fatigue... I figured all the time I spend in front of a screen both for business and pleasure should warrant a purchase of the proper equipment needed to protect my eyes. Immediately after purchasing these, I've noticed sharper text, clearer colors and enhanced contrast.... 5 hours now looking at a monitor and guess what? I feel I could easily go another 5 hours without removing my new Gunnars and rubbing my eyes. Worth every penny... and they are fashionable as well (though my wife says they make me look like a Hipster... everyone else has complimented me on them and asked where I bought them).

    Great for PC Usage

I bought these to use with my computer monitor while doing paperwork online. I have to do a lot of reading and writing while sitting at my computer. Sometimes I am in front of the screen for 4 or 5 hours doing work. These glasses have helped dramatically decrease the fatigue my eyes feel. My eyes don't feel as dry or tired. I'm not blinking as much to rest my eyes. I was not sure they would work, but decided to take a chance. I'm thrilled with the result.

These glasses are the Best! I use prescription progressive lenses , and they are not convenient at all when leaning back on the couch. These seem to have some strength to them as I can see clearly as if I’m wearing my prescription glasses. So, for me it works out perfectly. The warm yellow tone soothes the eyes and does not cause any stress at all. They might be made for gamers, but they are great for just watching tv or working on the computer.

the science going on here works as it should. I can go on playing games and using the computer without my eyes getting tired. I like the frame so much im gonna get my prescription lenses placed on this frame. I also contacted gunnar and I can send them my percription to get a pair of amber lenses for the gunnar set to work as it should AND I can see. I recommend this to ANYONE who uses tech pieces a lot because this helps for anything electronic you stare at a lot not just games. it also helps when driving at night to reduce the glare like sunglasses but without dimming your view.

Bought these when they were on sale for $29.99. That's about all they are worth at the most. First off, they do enhance what's on your TV or monitor. Colors are more vivid and everything is just generally sharper. There is also a slight magnification. Not really sure I've noticed any real eye fatigue benefit, maybe a little. On the negative side, these frames are just ugly. They are rather large and nerdy looking, reminding me a lot of the glasses "Wild Thing" wore in the movie Major League. I also get a glare/reflection on the inside of the glasses, which is actually a reflection of my eyes. This tends to be worse the darker the room. Overall these aren't bad, nor would I say they are really good. If I had paid more than $30, which I didn't due to RZ points, I would be taking them back.
