H&R Block Tax Software Deluxe 2023

When downloaded it is the 2023 year, I have used H&R Block for my year end taxes for 15 + years and it has never failed me to this point.

After it was loaded I realized that it didn't have the Stste software. I went back to my local Best Buy, but stated that they could not help because the software was opened. The state software was purchased via the option after the Federal return is done. The next day the software was showing that it was deleted off the computer. The federal software was reliaded, but the state software (South Carolina) wpuld not reload. I spent 5 hours on the phone with H &R BLOCK trying to fix the issue. I had to reset my computer to an earlier date (prior to the date of the issue). The H &R Block rep sent me new download of the software . After that I was able to complete the taxes. Other than the state software issue the software worked fine. Don't know how this works compared to other tax software.

2021 HRBlock Tax Deluxe

It took over an hour to download because the given URL did not work. Each time I reached a " h-m-m can't find that page". Going to hrblock.com took a lot of searches. I kept getting the page to buy software. I called the Co. and each time was given 45-50 min. wait time. After getting download was easy to use. I have used it several years & this is first time with a problem.

Another year
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive used this software for over 20 yrs. Last year, it wasnt so great. Even after the tax cut check, saying that everything was OK. The IRS said that it was wrong, and they took more than half of my refund, without any notification. When i questioned the decision that they arrived at, they told me that if i wanted to go through an audit, they would go over the prior 10 years, and they guaranteed that they would find something every year, that would cost me more money. So i shut up, and left it alone
