This software was easy to use. Installed quickly and comes with one State version as a download as well. You can purchase additional States if needed. You also get five free Federal efiles includes and you can pay to efiles your State returns. Just answer the questions as you go and it progresses you through your return. If you have questions there is an online help group you can contact or if that doesn't answer all of your questions you can call in for help.

I have done my own taxes since software was available, and whether you have done taxes before or not, you should have no problems using this software. Deluxe version has all the forms needed for most users, including those who may have investments, mortgages, retirement income, etc. I changed from TurboTax to H&R Block 3 years ago and have been very satisfied with Block.

If you file a standard return, this is fast and simple and priced right.

Easy is the best work to use. I've been using this software for the past three years and it just easy. I'm a railroader and this is the one you need if you itemize. Took a while where to put in RRTA (lines 13 & 14). Also like, since I used it last year that it automatically pulls up last years taxes and inputs it for me. Tedious junk, less time the better.

Over the years, I have used several tax preparation products. For me, I find this easy to install and use. Updating is a snap. I have never had to use the help line but understand it is good. Being old fashioned, I print and use snail mail to send to the tax authorities so I can't comment on e-filing

If you've used any tax software like TurboTax, this works the same way. Easy to use and understand. One problem I had though--the box read that you could import TurboTax info from previous years. You can only pull in info if you use the installed software version, NOT TurboTax.com (which I use). This distinction should've been clearly made in the details. Otherwise, this worked well for what I needed, and catching it on sale was a bonus.

Like I said in the title, if you use this once, you will want to use it again the next year as it will transfer forward all your info from last year and saves you a lot of time filling in the blanks. The only think I don't like about this software is when it does a 'check' and you verify that it is a correct entry, it still always comes back as a 'bad item. Tech support just a tad to be desired too. But about an 85 on a 100 scale.

I buy this every year to do my taxes at home. Works great every time. Goes online to get your information like W2 and investment information. Ask you a set of questions that are very easy to ask and then files your returns online. Had both return refunds back in less than a week. Save your money having a professional do it and do it yourself.

Another year, another tax season and H&R Block is there like a trusty old friend. I've been using their tax software for about 10 years now and every year I can get through the ins and outs of my return in about an hour and it's all there. Federal, State, and E-File. Better yet, I always get the best deal on it here at Best Buy. Highly recommended.

i found this software better than a competing product years ago and have stuck with it. I usually submit my Federal online and print and send in my State since one is free and the other not. With the prices going up on this kind of software, I hope someday the state will be free. Watch and buy this product on sale if you can. I use the 1040 and schedules A, B, C and K without trouble. I give it 4 because of the price and non-free State.

I have been buying this product for many years. It is easy to use and accurate.

Priced MUCH better than TurboTax, works about the same, and does the job. I don't efile (TurboTax bombed on this several years ago and I no longer trust ANY software to do it right), so I print everything. If I want to print ONLY the forms I need to file I have to do it individually for each one (more trouble than it's worth), otherwise it prints a lot of useless supporting stuff that I don't want. Still, better than doing it by hand!

This tax software is very easy to use and is always reliable.

I used to use Turbo Tax. It got expensive and didn't do any more than H&R. I have been using it for the past 5 years with great results. I had a question last year about the ObamaCare called the help line got right through, spoke with a very nice and knowledgeable person who answered my question in very short order. Great product and service.

I have used H & R Block tax software with state included for many years now and find the ease of install and transfer of necessary info from one year to the next to be of great use and time saving. Help and info areas are of great help as well as electronic filing. Only downside is for state program; not all forms are available and you may need to go outside the program to fill out those forms. Still, overall, a good product.

H&R Block Deluxe for Homeowners/Investors is easy to use to prepare my taxes. I use it for Fed 1040 and state taxes that include schedule A, B,C,D and 1099-INT, 1099-MISC and 1098-T for students and it handles all of that.
