I have used H&R Block for a few years. I have really had good experience with their program and I do my family's taxes also. It's very easy to use and you just need to answer questions step by step. Overall it is cheaper than the similar product from Turbotax

I've used TaxCut for many years and it works great. There are times when it's advantageous to do some research on topics outside of TaxCut, but the majority of the time you just need to answer the questions accurately as prompted. Excellent overall product.

I don't itemize and only have job income and account interest so it took only minutes to fill out. I sent it off and it was accepted without any word from the Feds or state. I received my return in a reasonably short time and will use the program again.

2016 tax year version of the software. It has the familiar interview topics, and guides you through the process. What is frustrating is that every year after filing near the deadline, when I open the program to check on my return's status there is a new update to the software. Always makes me think I missed something.

h&r block never disappoints me i've been using it for more than 10 years

I have used H&R Block Tax Software Deluxe for several years. It's less expensive than TurboTax, but I always wait until rebates are available to maximize value. This homeowners tax software is relatively easy to use, but it's not all that user-friendly when questions arise during the process of filling in forms.

Used this program now for 3 years now. Easy to install. Easy to use. Easy to file electronically or through the mail. It has always picked up my previous information and filled it in, a great time saving feature! Makes tax time a lot less painful!

I have used HRB at Home for many years. It gets better each year! It is easy to use and covers the vast amount of tax situations. If you use it more than one year, the import function from last year's data saves a ton of time. I like the fact that you can have questions answered by a tax professional online. The free audit support is a great "insurance policy" should the IRS come knocking, although it has never happened to me. The only reason I didn't give the software 5 stars is twofold: the Alternative Minimum Tax calculations make you fill out the form directly versus interviewing you so sometimes I am not sure that is filled out correctly. Second, the calculation options to determine whether the software assumes you paid your taxes evenly over the year, paid more during the first part of the year or the last part is also confusing. This is important because figuring the right option might help you avoid an underpayment penalty. Other than those items, the software is great as it is easy to use, accurate, saves a lot of time and is affordable. I highly recommend it!

I've been using H&R block since it was called Tax Cut. That's a long time. I switched from another popular package when they stopped allowing you to do multiple tax returns. H&R block allows me to download my tax forms from financial institutions.

You have to do them - software makes it easier!!! I've been using H &R block software for 20 years - tried taxcut once to compare, and for me - there was a huge increase in what it claimed I owed compared to Block.... Your mileage may vary!!!

The H&R block is very easy to use and generally intuitive. I like the ability to go directly to various forms without the interview process. The interview process can be very helpful if you don't have a lot of experience with tax preparation.

I have used this project for the last 10 years and thoroughly and comfortable with it and used to the layout and format and it does everything that I need to effectively reduce my tax obligation. Would not consider choosing anything else

Pretty straight forward and there is online support as well if you have questions. Used this product once and did my taxes at H&R and found it was very close to what I got. The person at H&R found a few other things I could add, but was offset by the cost of them doing it. Nonetheless worth getting.

I've used this software for several years-it makes it easy to prepare and file your taxes. The import of information makes it easy to get started each year. An area that could be improved is the list of donors that are preloaded-you usually need to type in names and addresses for most of your donors.

This is my third year using this program to file my taxes. It is so easy to understand and very user friendly for a senior citizen like myself. I highly recommend this program. I will continue using it in the future. Thank you HR Block.

I have been using H&R for about ten years and it has worked fine for me. To me, it's pretty similar to the other big one but cost less. Unless someone has put the two programs head-to-head, I cannot tell you if anything else is better.

H and R tax software is very easy to install and use! I really like the fact that you can download pertinent tax information from financial institutions. The software asks most important tax questions in an easy to understand format.

Deduction pro seems to cover less items for donated goods than previous versions, but overall this tax program works very well. Last year I used it to prepare a return, then compared it to a return prepared by a CPA. The results were only few dollars different. So I feel very confident using it.

I have used this product for several years. I like that it imports information from last year's return. That really saves time. It is easy to follow the prompts. I also like the ability to compare side by side to last year's return.
