We have used H&R Block tax software every year for the past 10 years and it has always been fast and easy. It is good about importing our information from the previous year and then guiding us through the process. It then does a final review and suggests corrections and additional deductions that we might not have considered. It then handles the transfer of the returns to the federal and state agencies and tracks the progress on acceptance processing.

Been using this one for 3 years. More economical than turbotax and just as many features.

This is a great choice for anyone looking to do their own taxes. Made preparing my taxes very easy and even included a free download of my state tax software.

I have been using H&R Block Deluxe for many years. It imports information from the previous year, making it faster to use. It gives you all of the questions and options that you wouldn't normally know. It helps you follow the rules and even flags areas that are questionable before sending your form. I wouldn't use anything else - very trustworthy and helpful!

It worked fine, but I don't know if it is familiarity or not, but Turbo seems a little easier to use and felt more comprehensive - like Trubo's tool to value donations of items

I have done my own taxes my whole life and have tried all the different software over the years, and I always go back to the BEST, H&R Block is so much more superior to the others and is by far the Easiest Tax prep software to use, and its not that expensive. I have trusted them since they came out and don't see that changing anytime soon...!

What can I say. It's TAX software. I've used H&R Block Deluxe+State for a number of years now. The benefit in using the same software year to year, is that information from the previous year is captured by this year's software so there's no cumbersome data re-entry (although it does ask you to check the data to ensure nothing has changed which is a helpful feature). The software comes with all the documents I needed, The program leads you effortlessly, at your own pace, from beginning to end. You do not have to complete your tax forms at one sitting. You can step away from the program at anytime, it will ask you to save, and when you return you can start where you left off. Submission to federal and state is a breeze - returns are electronically sent at no extra charge (although when it comes to state returns, I do understand that this varies from state to state and you may be charged incrementally for the electronic submission for your state or given the option to print and mail yourself which isn't a huge hassle in and of itself.)

I buy this every year and it really streamlines my taxes while prompting me through the process.

I have been using this tax software for 15 years and I swear by it. Also, what is excellent about it is that it imports tax year's data that is germain into the current year so I don't have to do so myself, and this includes prior tax loss carry-forwards. I highly recommend this tax software.

i have used Tax Act, Tax Cut, and other software but keep coming back to H&R block and Best Buy sales plus (at the time) Gift Card for purchase made this a no brainer as to cost, cheaper than the download and I like a physical DVD so I can pull up old returns even after changing computers.

This program makes the yearly chore of tax prep a little easier. Affordable and easy to use.

I've always done my own taxes and have used a variety of tax programs over the years. I have found the HR Block program to be the most reliable, easiest to use, and most secure of the tax programs. I feel secure that my taxes are done right and that the IRS won't be knocking on my door.

Needed some help with my taxes this year and I got this to get them done fast. It was so easy to use I did my parent's taxes as well!

The government says I have to pay income taxes or they will throw me in prison. So I bought this to avoid going to jail. Worked good.

I’ve switched over from TurboTax a few years ago since the price went up. This isn’t quite as polished but works just as well.
