I have used both H&R & Turbo Tax. They are both easy to use. I chose H&R Block because of their live support. If you get an Audit they also have support for Audit. Turbo Tax doesn't. The 2016 was very easy to use. Walks you through every step and it's lower priced.

I was preparing my tax return within about 5 minutes from the start of the installation. The detailed instructions for each step of the tax preparation process were very helpful. The final product was error free and the electronic filing option was quick and easy.

I have purchased various tax software throughout the years -- usually getting the "best deal". I will probably continue to look for the best deal, but I usually start with H&R Block. It is intuitive, easy to use and usually is the best bang for the buck.

In my opinion, this is the best and easiest tax software I've experienced!

I have been using HR Block tax software program for several years now. Prior to that, I used TurboTax. HR Block software is easy to use for DIY taxes. It works as well as TurboTax, but for a lower cost. My only complaint with ALL of these tax software programs is how the cost has climbed steadily up with the addition/inclusion of features I do not require, i.e. 5 "free" tax filings. I only have one return. Plus if you really want or are worried about security and not leave your financial info on HR Block servers when you file, you can mail it in to IRS. Then you need zero "free filings". In the "old days" these programs were half the price of today and you paid for the filings. I still like to have the software on disc to load onto (air-gapped) computer instead of downloading program from internet or running program on internet as some other lower cost options/versions do. In summary, the program is easy to use, you actually have the disc/software and are in control of decisions regarding how you want to treat/handle your financial data but I don't need 5 filings, hence I give it a 4-star rating.

I've used Block software for many years. They continue to have excellent software that is easy to use, easy to file and easy to load the prior years data. I find that the process walk thru and notes they provide are always informative on new IRS rules.

This is the best tax software, in my opinion. I have used H&R block software for the last 8 years and tried others. The user interface is always consistent year to year. Imports prior years data for you. Overall, I am very satisfied with this software.

My mom always did my taxes in till now. She always use H&R Block and I do see why. It is very easy and straight forward. It will even let you know before you file if there is a discrepancy with you taxes. Will be buying next years addiction.

I have done my own taxes for years. This mikes it simple and easy.

I have been using the Deluxe Homeowners version for several years now and have had very little to no problems. It is easy to use and low cost. I use their e-filing and I recommend it's use. H&R Block Tax Software works for me!!!

I used to only use TurboTax until a couple of years ago when they cut out a large portion of the deluxe program and forced an upgrade to get it back - switched to HR Block and thought the program was better and at a better price!

H & R Deluxe edition w/state included is a great value for your dollar. The Q & A process is easy to use for most people and you can do multiple returns if this need exists. I have been using this tax software for 10+ years!

I have been using H&R Block software my taxes for years and find it to be easy to understand and accurate. I used to dread the task, but now I look forward to doing my taxes. I especially like the electronic filing and direct deposit of refunds. What used to take weeks now takes days.

So simple to use, with step by step instructions. I import all my data saved from last year's taxes and all I have to do is update income, deductions, wages. interest etc...Also comes with audit risk and support if needed.

It gets the job done. I have been using this software for years and I am very comfortable with it. I believe it is a better value than Turbo Tax (price-wise for my needs). It is easy to use and has excellent help support.

I have bought and used the H&R Block Tax Software since 2005. I have bought it at Best Buy the last few years. Easy to use and is offered at an affordable price plus H&R Block backs you up if you are audited. Recommend!!
