Excellent tax prep software

I am thorough and it met every test and relieved my concerns about "missing" something. Saved me tax prep fee of several hundred dollars. Used it to file electronically for free and got my refund fast.

Not Good or Bad...

This one is having problems putting my school district taxes paid into my state forms and it is like pulling teeth to overide..the federal seems to work fine. I only purchased this one because it was Best Buy deal of the day and half price.

I've been using the software brand for the last 4 years without any problems. It's more affordable than Turbo Tax as well. If you want to keep more money in your pocket whether or not you're getting a refund this year, H&R Block is just fine

I have to admit that TurboTax is an easier program for deductions. H&R was easy enough to use, but it needed better definitions. I'm not a CPA, or a tax attorney, so better descriptions would have helped me get a larger refund.
