When it comes to state taxes at times they want you to enter information directly in the form. There I found the recommendations to calculate penalty for withholding less taxes differed between what was mentioned in the IL State form and Taxcut.

I use this every year and Love It.

The only negative thing is they want to "charge" you to efile your state return. You get that part of the program to do the state return but not efile it. Well I don't pay it cause why would I want to pay them $20 to get a $47 refund. No thank you I will mail it to get more money.

Really guides you to cover the eligible areas for deductions on your taxes. Like the review at the end to see if your deductions are within reasonable and accurate limits.
