Despite the headline above, the program is still well worth buying. It just doesn't seem to be as reliable as in the past - software wise. I think I had a little less trouble than in the past in regard to the tax issues. However, I kept getting an error message when I tried to update it. I also had trouble getting the return to go to H&R Block for transmittal to the IRS. Both problems were eventually solved by completely removing the program and reinstalling it. After that, I was able to update and the return went through on the first try. Without these two errors,I would have given it at least 4 stars and probably 5. After all, when the government makes tax regulations so unnecessrily complicated to keep accountants and lawyers in business, the software can't be really easy to use.

Best tax software ive used and always gets me more money on my return. I tried turbo....... but it found me a thousand dollars less that year i switched back to this software and through the other one away.

I have used this for many years. It is very easy, accurate, and fast. I will never consider using another tax software. Tried the electronic file for the first time this year and amazed how fast and easy.

I have used this software for six years. Some of the competition have database compilers and I object to them keeping my information. This software is complete and easy for even "non-tax individuals".

Easy to use software ! But if I would of used Turbo Tax instead I could of saved $900.00 of health care penalties! I recommend using Turbo Tax instead they give options that H R Block doesn't anymore.

Software works just as well and maybe better than Turbo Tax, and it is cheaper. Have used this product for last 3 years and have found it very capable of accurately calculating my taxes. Online filing is a breeze. Would definitely recommend this product.

What else can I say, it is a tool for me to use to help me pay my taxes. By definition I do not like having to do that task, it is an obligation that I take seriously and I prefer using this tool.

Don't know why anyone would pay the TurboTax Premier premium prices instead of this. Only thing I really don't like is paying $20 plus tax to file state taxes. I will just print and mail (which has to be so inefficient and more expensive for the state)

Easy enough to use but had issues with the state of Vermont Tax forms still has not been able to submit VT tax forms. This might be an issue of the stat of Vermont but still has not been resolved.

I have used H&R Block Tax Software Deluxe: Homeowners/investors Federal And State for years and have been quite satisfied with it. Does everything I need including rental income.

I've use TaxCut for years. I like the Deduction Pro feature and recall of information from last year and still worked with older Vista based system until my PC gets upgraded.

If you do hand form taxes and need also a good calculator, this can help make sure you're not missing any credits/refunds/itemizations etc. but it can be a bit hard trying to find the right page to put in the information.

H & R Block Deluxe Tax Software has both Federal & State Tax Returns. Fast & Easy to install. I made my purchase on it's quality & Best Buy also gave a Gift Card at the time of Purchase making it a quick & easy choice.

H&R Block was charging me $250 to do my taxes. It would take them about 20 minutes. This took a lot longer for me to figure out. And there were a few things that were not user friendly. But it was worth what I saved.

I'd really prefer if Congress simplified the income tax so we didn't have to waste so much time messing around with do the income tax return forms. Since that isn't likely to happen soon, this is good workaround.

It is a good product, with the exception that if you want to correct some of the details, you have to go into the forms, instead of looping back into the questions.

Offered clearer explanation of most things that previous tax software from both H&R Block and Turbo Tax. Full cost was known up front as opposed to being unsure what final costs would be with online products.

I I bought this software because taxact cost too much this year. Also because it was on sale w/ a $10 gift card(sweet). I like this software better than taxact, and a plus is that it works on my Mac computer

Been using this program for years. It's really an easy program. Someone who really knows nothing about taxes would be able to use this program quite easily.

Used the other tax software, then tried this one and found it to be more cost effective, easy to install, simple and thorough to use, great help menus.
