Greatest TAX software I have ever used. I use this software every year without any problems. Highly recommend this for beginners and businesses.

As usual, easy to use. Knocked down a couple of stars because it's a difficult to find answers to specific questions and there is no chat option.

Great for tax normal preparation but when you have uncommon tax issue it's hard to get it resolved. Some of the directions need to be translated from tax lawyer language to plain english

I have been using H R Block over turbo tax for 3 years now. I bought both in the past and got the same exact return so no more TurboTax.

H&R Block Tax Prep Software thoroughly covers my tax situation which is not that complicated. Just a W2, some 1099's, and deductions.

Organized questions by category and then brought in appropriate details and forms to be completed. I needed help for one area and they drilled into my problems and resolved issue.

It is good to work on taxes at home on our own time schedule with all file cabinets close by in case we need to look up something.

I have used H&R Block for years with no issues, but this year there was an update that wouldn't.... well, update. It kept giving me an error message and I was unable to submit my taxes. I called the help desk on a Saturday afternoon and was told that I would have to wait for a call back in 48 hours. Two weeks later, when I had the time to call again, I reached someone that helped me in less than five minutes. The product itself is good, but the issues with the update and reaching the help desk were bad.

l not purchase this again it worked fine but did not work with my investment firm they do not support it they say it is not safe

You must file out the complete 1099R even if the 1099R you received in the mail left the blank empty. This caused a lot of pain on State Form but no problem on Fed Form.

Price was too good to pass on ($30 less than TurboTax plus I got a gift card too), but the program is not as user friendly as TurboTax. We will see what I buy next year.

I have used this software for years with no problem, but this year I had a bit of trouble getting the program up and running, and then the state portion did not load at all, in fact told me that I didn't need to file a state return (false!). Fortunately, the H&R Block online customer service chat service was available 24/7 the week before Tax Day, so at 2:00 a.m. I was able to get a workaround solution. Still, this experience makes me think twice about my tax software choice in the future.

Does what you expect. Cheaper than Turbo Tax, and Deluxe does what it is supposed to, you don't have to upgrade to Premier

Been using H & R Black past two years and it's same quality as Turbo Tax but cheaper. Gets the job done for me fast.

I have been buying the H&R Block Deluxe + State tax preparation software for years. You can not go wrong with one!
