I was prompted to buy this when, after using Turbo Tax for over 3 years, they downgraded the capabilities of their software while at the same time raising the price! I sometimes wonder what went through managements mind at Intuit. HR Block read my TurboTax returns perfectly, and it works very well - except they have full functionality included for most all associated forms used with Form 1040. Great software overall, I would recommend to anyone.

I've been using H&R Block's Tax preparation software for about 10 years and have been pleased with the results. It walks you though each step and provides resources that guide you though each field if you are not sure what the IRS is requesting. In addition to 1040 income I have a small business so it can handle it all.

Good Tax software, Cheaper than TurboTax. I have used both H&R Block and TurboTax and they are basically the same, but H&R Block is noticeably cheaper. H&R Block can import last years TurboTax return making the process easier.

Does everything a tax program should. Easy to use and covers the main topics most people would need.

Hard to beat the value of this. It's on par with other consumer grade tax software. I've used it for the past 7 years.
