bought two one for a friend, good price last two you had

Nice compact packaging and easy installation process.

This tax software is not overly user friendly. If I didn't have prior tax prep experience, I wouldn't use it.

I ordered this package rather than the digital download because I thought I was getting a physical disc in the package. When I received the package, it was a smaller box than normal and has a digital code in the box for downloading the software and activating it. Had I wanted a digital download, I would have just ordered the digital download from the website and started using it yesterday. I did go back and look at the specifications today, and it does say physical digital code, but who would have thought they would do that. I'm old school and like getting the actual discs for my software.

Next year going to try turbo tax. Last year was a known glitch that certain versions do not install. This year is a filing glitch that the only way to file is make a blank sheet of paper a pdf and the you can finish your taxes. I’ve been using this software for 20 + years and never had issues till these last 2. What’s next years glitch?

There is a HUGE problem with this item. If it is bought from a retailer, the software CANNOT be copied to your computer unless you pay AN ADDITIONAL FEE.

cannot download software tried every site call hr block put me on hold then hung up on me purchase my tax software from best buy will not buy from then no more will try turbo tax software when i get refund wheres my cd disk

Gets the job done but doesn’t offer a lot of support unless you want to pay more.

On line help with product not as helpful as program makes it seem

I have used H&R block for many years, always buying a store bought CD copy. I ordered the "physical" copy thinking I was getting a CD. I opened the box this morning to find a crappy piece of paper with an activation code on it. So off to BestBuy to return only to find out my window of return ended two days ago. I don't have a good enough internet connection to reliably download large programs so I guess I am stuck throwing this piece of worthless paper away and ordering turbo tax where I can get a real CD in the box. Bad on H&R block for not providing a CD in the box choice, and really bad on BestBuy for not explaining physical choice was not really physical cd software but a piece of paper with a download code on it.

I would give this software a zero, but that wasn’t an option. Extremely poor customer service is the reason for the rating. Next year, I use Credit Karma’s free service or another software package.

Was given a link to download the software; the link do not lead to an option to download anything. Calle H&R Block and wa told others had suffered the same problem. Block provided a free link that worked. I trashed the faulty link from Best Buy. I'll use the software from Block from now on , By bye to Best Buy. Incidentally,the deadline to get a refund had expired when I first tried to use the product.

It was hard to get loaded and generally not real happy with the performance. It was generally not very helpful.

This year H&R Block missed it completetly with their tax program. They cannot get the bug out of the program that concerns the stimulus payments we received from the government. Their customer service departments keeps promising a fix via a software update but after several updates, the problem still hasn't been resolved. I'd suggest Turbo Tax at least this year.

State part of software has errors. Two hours on hold to reach their customer service, no clue no help provided... I just told them I am tossing the software and do my taxes out of state fillable forms the good old way, they agree is a good idea since they cannot help unless they contact the developer, lame excuse... Lesson learned for next year!

No disk included in box causing need to go on line to get program. Takes more of my time so seller can save a nickel and waste my time. The worst part is the program ask for me to allow them to have access to my tax information. I will look at other programs next year and if this is the best I can find I will just use one of the free programs.

Mistake after mistake after mistake list I don't or anymore money but my refunds have front significantly what happened to this program also while using it they make it really hard to bring up your ear before it should just be automatic I don't know if I'll ever use this program again

Your web site states order online and pick it up in an hour. I went to the store about two or three hours after placing my order and they had no record of it. But there were plenty of the item on the shelf. I didn't get an acknowledgement/pick up notice until the next morning.

Diesnt function fir those of us the had to get the ssa paid in 2020. No way to get around it. Over the phone with tech support was no use. Had to get hnr ti refund me

Could not complete Ohio return. Hold times were extremely long. The problem is scheduled to be fix in an upcoming upgrade
