    I bought this with the intention of filing my daughters' taxes and also as a comparison to TurboTax for the future. It was a digital download, so note that as a fact and excuse for the terrible and horrific results. I downloaded and updated as required, and since she has only her son and herself, and 1 W-2, it would appear easy. The results were that She owed over 5K in taxes. WHAT! So, I doubled checked everything, and no change. The State seemed reasonable. As stated, I use TurboTax, and I then put in the same information. The result was 4K less. I even performed a manual check to be fair. This is not a good experience for me, or perhaps someone else..

    Our 3rd year using H&R Block tax software. We were disappointed as this years 2023 was found to have a glitch (verified by customer service ) which caused us to have to print and mail in our return. One purpose of buying their software is to file online!

    This is my fifth year using the software. It was great for the first 3 years, but last year, it didn't download the state software and asked me to pay $39.95. I was up against the deadline so just did it. Same thing happened this year where it is asking me to purchase State, when I clearly bouth the State package. I tried their Chat option, which was 30 minutes of no help and then they sent me to an 800 number where I can't get ahold of someone. So disappointing, will be looking at other options next year.
