Easy to use tax software that makes it easy to file

I’ve been using HR&block for a few years now sometimes it’s not clear on how to do RSU’s I had to figure it out on my own.

I found this software to be worthless with errors and omissions. 1. H&R Block could not do my QCD ( qualified charitable distribution.) It asked for the information but could not fill out Form 1040 lines 4a and 4b correctly. 2. I checked foreign bank accounts but the software did not generate IRS Form 8938. When I manually requested Form 8938 and filled it out, the software did not attach it to my " ready to file return". 3. I called H&R Block and was put on hold for an hour and a half never being able to resolve these issues. I had to download the IRS fillable forms and send my tax return in by USPS Priority Mail. Finally, I formally requested a refund of my purchase price from by calling H&R Block. I sent the refund request by email over 2 weeks ago but there has been no response by email, phone, or USPS even acknowledging that email. You've been warned. I do not believe that H&R Block "has your back"

Horrible experience. I bought deluxe online. The activation code was for basic. Customer support was useless. Gave me the same code so ended up having to go to the store to get a valid code.

I have been using this product since 2015. It could be a user error, but for me, it seems to be getting more complicated.

I couldn’t find any help within the software to figure out how to report some income. When I called, I was transferred to two different lines put on hold to investigate and then hung up on. Calling back, they told me I had to go into an office to get help. The online chat support was even worse. They asked the same question over and over again. Mind you their competitors offered solutions in their software that was easy to find on Google search. Unless you wanna do the tax research yourself, I would suggest going to a different company. The only support they offer is what they deem is needed so if the search doesn’t end up with what you want, you’re out of luck

Somewhat difficult to use. Cannot undo some entries. I probably would not buy again.

Received link from Best Buy and Code. Entered everything and download doesn't happen. Tried two different browsers and turned off firewall. Had to call HR Block (1-888-482-9288), get a different link and new code. Block told me that I wasn't the only one that it wasn't working for. HR Block link worked first time, no issues.

I purchased the H&R Block deluxe version, but the redeem now button on Best Buy’s website sent the basic version. I’ve tried for two hours resolving with Best Buy and an hour with H&R Block. Best Buy needs to fix this and there’s a simple solution, provide the correct download, and a new key code.

Good federal software. State program is marginal and unfortunately, customer service is poor. They said they'd call me back in five business days. It's been three months!

State Tax Forms non-accessible. BestBuy tech assistance inadequate. Workaround identified thru H&R Block — issue complaint also lodged w/H&R Block

This was our first time using H &R Block's tax program and it definitely be our last! We received three rejections on our tax return and tried correcting what were highlighted as errors. To no avail. Chatted with a "robot" and a "live person seeking assistance and neither were helpful. There were no links, buttons or anything to assist in maneuvering out with attempts to get clarification as to the rejects.

When we downloaded the software from the link the Basic version is what downloaded not the Deluxe + State version we ordered. We have been trying to get a new activation code for the software we paid for now for 2 days and over 2 hours with no luck. We love the software and have used it for 7 years now but really need someone who knows what they are doing to make this right.
