There were reviews that said software couldn't be downloaded from email but I bought it anyway. HUGE MISTAKE! You can't download tax software and Best Buy will do nothing to make it right. Just spent 2 hours online trying to get help.

I could never get it installed on my computer. Far as I can tell it didn't like my browser. So I tried another and another and none of them worked. Took forever to get in contact with them for help. Used them in prior years with no problem. Going back to Turbo tax.

I kept getting an error message that I didn’t have internet access when I was clearly connected. I finally gave up and just paper filed.

Error correction guidelines for a rejected return because of a federal issue are invalid because the fed was accepted, reviewed, and processed.

Easy to download, activate, import last year's data, and start this year's return. It's working just as well as it did during the last few tax return seasons.

I got this on a good deal and decided to take a chance. It downloaded and activated the exact version I purchased so no troubles here as of 2/19/2025. Hopefully they fixed the bug, sounds like a headache.

I was concerned about some of the reviews indicating download issues. Everything went fine for me (Windows). I'll import last year's stuff and get rolling. Best Buy had the best price by far. The price increase this year was astounding. I paid $25 last year at Amazon, and Amazon wanted $50 this year. only $30 here at Best Buy.

Simple return with 2 w2 and 1 1099-int. Completed interview including Mississippi state with no issues. Attempted to efile and got a message that state could not be efiled due to a problem. Told to display the list of problems. The list showed an additional source of income with errors. The new source was a 1099-R with missing data. The 1099-R was never entered and does no exist. Cannot be corrected. Thied to contact HRBlock 3 times explaining the problem but was disconnected each time during the discussion. They have my phone number but did not return my all to complete the discussion and provide a solution. Probaly will require software update which their site says is not planned. I will probably have to by software from a different source to complete. If that is the case it will mean a lost customer.

Poor AZ state support for Tax Credits (AZ form 352

For AZ: after 8 years still does not include AZ Form 352 for Foster Care credit, so you will have to file by mail. They make NO attempt to update or add forms. I don't know why.

$1,000 mistake
