This is arguably the best war movie I have ever seen. The story is touching. This corpsman was a true hero. This movie does an excellent job at displaying the brutality of war, without just making it all about the blood and guts. This is a great testament and example of why that generation was the greatest generation our nation has ever seen.

This was a movie that was given great reviews at the movie theater. I'm not one to frequent theaters, I buy the DVD. Just recently bought a 75in Sony Bravia and thought it would be a great edition to our library. Excellent movie! I hope to add more great movies from Best Buy in the future, and these $5.00 off rewards help as an incentive

Hacksaw Ridge was one of the best movies we have seen in a long while that truly depicts the inside workings of a truly brave soldier. If you enjoy watching true based stories, this would be while worth your time to watch.

A little cheesy, but Garfield makes up for it with his amazing performance. It feels so unbelievable that one man could do what he did. What a great story. I hope Gibson continues to direct movies. It’s been years now since this movie came out.

Get ready for a truly unbelievable action packed true movie showing what one individual is capable of achieving when faced with impossible odds. This event proves that you can never judge someone from the outward appearances. A person's heart is an invisible force that will make you always wonder what is a person truly like inside. Enjoy.

Great true story of one man's convictions and valor. Awesome special effects, great story line. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie; it is one of those movies that gives one a hope for humanity. The price for the movies was fair, with price matching available. It was easy to find, as it was on display out front with the price easily read.

One of the years best! Part love story, part religious, part war story. Great film making By Mel Gibson. Telling the true story about a guy who went off to war without the use of a rifle due to religious reasons. And the massive amount of people he saved being enlisted as a medic. A must watch for war buffs and history buffs alike.

I bought Hacksaw Ridge for my husband. He was in the 101st Airborne Unit in Vietnam. He LOVES war movies! Ha! So, I really thought on this one. He has seen so very many...But I took it home 1/27/21. Guess what? He had not seen it! He loved it! I didn't watch it, as I do not like war anything. However, this guy does it all without a gun! So, I will give it 5 stars based on his reaction to the film. Also, the picture presentation on the front was good, was interesting to me. And the pricing was great!

I did not go in to this movie expecting to love it, even though I always have a soft spot for WWII movies, but it is on my Top 5 List. It was incredibly moving with several outstanding performances and really well-filmed. Saw it at the theater & twice on this blu-ray already, & will watch it several more times. Highly recommend it!

My grandson asked me to get this movie. We watched it together. Movie was great, action good and the content was educational. Based on a true story and a great person. This shows that there other sides to war for people to serve. My grandson loved this movie as I did also. If you have not seen it then I would recommend you do.

The movie is a great story and backed by an excellent Atmos soundtrack. There is apparently minimal CGI In this movie which instead uses a lot of traditional effects for explosions and stunts. It is a good change from a lot of movies being made which are 90% special effects.

I love realistic films of what it was like fighting in WWII. This is up there with Band of Brothers. I've read accounts of Hacksaw Ridge and this film does portray what that war was like. Great film, but be prepared for the gore. That is what it was like, so get over it and realize none of us ever sacrificed like these men did. Ever.

The true story of Desmond Doss, Andrew Garfield did a fantastic job at playing the southern gent Desmond Doss. It captures how life was in the early 1940's very well as it begins the story, and then grows the experience in boot camp and later on when he had to face the results of not wanting "to touch a gun".

This movie should have won the Academy Award as the Best Picture, as well as Andrew Garfield winning for the Best Actor!! Desmond Doss was a Real-Life Hero, who didn't need fancy suits, gimmick weapons, or a silly sidekick made into toys next week. He only needed a heart, courage, and the Lord's help!! We need more heroes like him!!!

Absolutely amazing movie and lives up to the hype for sure. I'm always loved world war 2 stories, movies, and books, but I had never heard this story before. Heard so many good things about it so I saw it and definitely not disappointed. I was so into this movie I didn't even realize how much time had gone by when I finished it.

The DVD's and the gift cards that I purchased were just what I wanted for a special birthday gift for someone. They were well received. The person I purchased them for enjoyed them very much. I had great customer service and the products were just what I wanted. I will certainly shop again at Best Buy. I was highly satisfied..

Was one of the best movies I've have seen in a long time. Seen it at the theater and at that point I had to have it for my movie collection. So don't miss out. Get to the store and buy this movie. Hope you all love it as much as me. Based on a true story and was totally amazing what the guy was able to do. AAA+++ rating from me

Great story based on true events! We need real heroes now like this young man. Wonderful story of standing firm for personal beliefs and finding a way to serve according to those beliefs. It is intense and uplifting! Good movie for young adults who do not understand the nobility of our U.S. soldiers' sacrifice for our freedoms.

Andrew Garfield does a wonderful job portraying the conscientious objector who still has the desire to serve. I had seen the movie awhile back and had to purchase for my library when I saw it at an excellent price.

Picked this up when it dropped below $20, the slipcover was damaged but it’s the beautiful steelbook under that is the prize here. A real top notch steelbook. One of the more beautiful ones I own.
