I really really really liked this movie. I would recommend getting the 4K one though as the difference will blow your mind once you see it on a 4K HDR TV. I do not regret getting the bluray one but I just really enjoyed seeing the 4K one that my brother in law got.

Not much of a war movie fan. Having said this I absolutely love this movie. Mel Gibson has done an amazing job of telling a story about a man and his convictions and showing us the horrors of war . Love this movie and have seen it multiple times.

The movie is really good. Pretty realistic compared to most war movies made now a days. True story, which I love. Also, quality of the 4K is great and the Atmos sound was done very well. Very cool to hear the gun fire coming from all around during the battle.

If you enjoy war movies and movies about courageous people, this one is for you. A man who stood up for his faith and never touched a weapon is the hero of this movie. His solid stand for God is a wonderful testimony to anyone today who struggles with their faith.

Hacksaw Ridge could easily have won the Best Picture Award at the Oscar's. More than just a war movie as it brought to light those who were conscientious objectors but still had their place in the military. Oh, by the way, did I mention this was a real life story.

Based on fact. Tells the story about a conscientious objector who volunteers to be a medic in WW II. It show him as a boy and young man before joining the army. The war scenes are very graphic.

A really great movie! An awe inspiring story of battle and faith. The forage of a major battleofWorld War II is not to be missed. The fact that it is a true story makes it's must see. The story of a real American hero told by a world class movie maker Mel Gibson.

instant war classic and a drama hit on the silver screen. so much realism and another side of man's story unveiled.

You can't make this stuff up. Hacksaw Ridge is a true story that shows what the human sprit can endure under impossible conditions on Okinawa during WW2. The acting and especially the special effects were second to none. This is one of the all time great movies.

ok so this is based on a true story and mel gibson did a great job getting you into that story. It starts of a tad slow, but once they get to "hacksaw ridge" make sure your atmos speakers are setup and properly and set to reference levels! And enjoy the show!

Didn't see this in the theater and purchased outright recently. Great film and the 4K version of it is pretty good. Details in still scenes are what I love about 4K blurays. Audio for this 4K is great too if you have the equipment to take advantage of it.

I bought this movie based on the trailer only. I was amazed by it. I'm not usually a "war movie" watcher but this is so much more. The story is incredible. It is rather gory but I think it needs to be and that makes it all the more amazing. He truly was a hero.

Amazing and true story. Great visuals and sound. We need more films like this to remind America how men of valor fought and died for the freedoms that we take for granted in today’s culture.

I originally saw this on the big screen. I couldn't wait for the video to come out so I could see it again. And I enjoyed it every bit as much the second time. I had never heard of Desmond Doss, so I looked up the history before I even saw the movie. Inspiring.

Incredible film. Jaw dropping scenes. Did not expect this story to be this intense. Amazing charters and acting . This is a must have in 4K. The visuals and sounds are 100% satisfying.

War is a horrible atrocity, but sometimes brings out the best in the human spirit. This is a gritty and heartfelt story and I highly recommend adding it to your collection - you will not be disappointed. It earned everyone of its oscar nominations! Get it!

Really good movie! It is a bit graphic. No, it’s very graphic. It is rated R, so that makes sence. It was delivered in a good package, nice and protected. Very good story and lots of action!

Awesome performance by Andrew Garfield. An incredible movie that tells the story of someone who sought to live out his convictions amidst the many that opposed him. This is up there with Saving Private Ryan of best war movies in my opinion.

This film was so powerful I realized, at one point, I was trembling from an adrenaline rush and I was gripping the arm of my recliner until my hand starting going numb. Thank God for brave men and women who fought and died for our country. God bless America.

Personally Saving Private Ryan is one of my favorite movies of all time and does is comparable but takes a different route in telling a WWII story focusing on the heroics of a single guy in an inspiration setting. Worth a watch for any fan of war movies.
