This is my first 4K movie and it did not disappoint. The picture quality was great and the story outstanding. I was not familiar with the story but I found it compelling and enjoyed it greatly. Different kind of war story than you usually see. Recommended.

The storyline in this movie is very powerful and hard to believe. If it wasn't a true story it would almost be too unbelievable. The fact that this actually happened is incredible! They did a great job making this movie. It is definitely worth checking out!

If you are at all interested in the unique bravery of the military men in World War II then you need to see this show. It is a tremendous example of the human spirit that is devoted to his God. The up-close footage and the 4K quality are outstanding!

This movie ranks right up there with Band of Brothers and Saving Private Ryan for realistic cinematography. The story is based on a real WWII hero, and covers some of the struggles he endured while wanted to serve in the military.

This is not a review of the movie, but of the Blu Ray. The picture quality, along with the sound, is excellent. My only complaint is that Best Buy insist on placing their stickers directly on the packaging of the disc, leaving adhesive marks on the cover.

I thought this movie was the best war movie I have seen in a very long time. It had a very good story and did not have a lot of unnecessary language you usually get with war movies. Great acting and over all one great movie.Got it for just $9.99

Suprised I got both versions DVD and blue ray! Funny we watch the DVD version! Lol We thought there was no other disc in there! Ha to our surprise we found the blue ray disc after we watched the DVD Version!!!! Other than that awesome movie!!!!!!!!

I really loved this movie. It was very exciting and very sad at the same time. It had plenty of action also. I was amazed when l found out that it was a true story. The Army medic was a truly brave young hero. I highly recommend purchasing this movie.

Worth six stars. This movie showcases the will of one man to stand by his convictions and to beat all odds thrown at him. The determination to believe in himself and his faith and stand firm to those believes saved many wounded heros in their own right.

Possibly my favorite war movie of all time. It’s a wholesome story, and even has an extremely cute love story. If you can stomach the violence in this movie, it’s a must see.

I'm not a huge war film person, but do enjoy documentaries. This movie combines both wonderfully! With some parts that make you wish that everyone could be that compassionate, caring, and dedicated! Definitely recommend it to anyone.

You will laugh, cry, gasp, and be on the edge of your seat. This is the best war movie I haveever seen hands down. And the picture quality is so clear you feel like you are there! My wife loved it too. It has a love story mixed in with the action.

I fell off the Mel Gibson bandwagon after his many controversies, but Hacksaw Ridge is an excellent movie. At least he is behind the camera, and not in front of it. As for the movie itself, Andrew Garfield is excellent in this. Also, 4K. Nice!

Man this movie is amazing. It comes with a digital copy so I was able to compare the digital movie with the 4K and blu ray versions. Let me tell you it's worth buying and supporting the disk format. Picture and audio quality that you wouldn't believe.

If you like full metal jacket than this movie is for you, if you like military films than surly you will like this one that's all I can say. Buy it and you will have no regret besides it's a true event with actual footage of the guy receiving metals

Is different but good movie based off a solider who was opposed to having a gun but was hero in end saving people

Hacksaw Ridge is a great movie for any library. The movie is based off actual characters and events. It takes a little to set the background but then takes off and then keeps you riveted to the screen. It is a great story of overcoming great odds.

As usual, there is no directors commentary, which would be quite entertaining from a guy like Mel,i would imagine. Awesome film though, and a really well done documentary along with a few odds and ends. All around an above average blu ray experience.

Great 4k movie to add to your 4k Blu-ray collection. The Dolby atmos implementation is quite fantastic and will test out your Dolby atmos setup. Add this to the list of Dolby atmos enabled movies.

This is a great movie, very well done. Should not only be part of every war movie buff, but even those only partially interested in war movies. The story and acting is great. The fact it is based on a true story is unbelievable. Definitely recommend!
