Great story about a patriot conscientious objector in WWII who saved many lives without ever carrying a gun. It does not hold back the horrors of war or the price a man had to pay for his convictions. Well acted and directed.

Excellent movie that tells the story of a real WWII hero that stood by his beliefs and made a huge difference in the lives of people around him without ever firing a gun. A "must see" film. And don't forget to view the extra features.

This was a great movie didn't get a chance to see it in the theater but was better I didn't saw it last night with my pops and we both really liked it great story and really enjoyed it. P.s. have a stomach for it lol pretty gutsy

This is a great story of one person beliefs about not using guns to kill but to help the wounded. He would not talk about it until someone in his church talked to him, it's a story that needs to be told! He saved so many lives.

Hacksaw Ridge is a great movie. I did some research afterward to see how accurate it was compared to what actually happened and found it is extremely accurate. It may be a little bloody for some; it is on par with "Private Ryan".

A story of personal conviction and unquestioned patriotism. Should be watched by anyone over the age of 18 (just because of the violence). You may just come away thinking differently about the men and women who fight for our country.

Great job of bringing to life a very gruesome subject. Movie draws you in slowly and develops the characters slowly but by the time it gets to the war zone you care about them. So this movie succeeds in telling a very amazing story!

Love story mixed together with the harrowing tale of a conscientious objector turned army medic at the battle for Okinawa (ww2). The story as told in this film seems far-fetched and impossible...but what's really crazy is that its mostly true! Biggest downside is Vince Vaughn....he is not a very comvincing sergeant (he is much better as an abrasive comedian.) All things considered, in my opinion, this movie is a decent way to spend a couple hours of your time.

The man this movie is about is amazing, a true example of how love can prevail amid the horror of war. I loved the movie so much when I saw it at the theater, I knew I wanted a copy for myself so I could share his story with others.

This was the most realistic war movie I have ever seen.The battle scenes were so disturbing it was almost hard to watch.But that's war.Never a pretty picture.If your a fan of war movies this is definitely one for the collection.

I dont usually like war movies but this one is different makes you see that there are many ways that people fight for what they believe in and it works for them even when other people tell them that its wrong

The is a great story during WWII. An individual enlists in the army but refuses to carry a weapon. He goes through havoc during his basic training because he will not train with a wepon. It is a great action film and very bloody.

A story of one man that dismisses attacks on his religious faith and proves he can serve his country equally. It is amazing to see the actual footage of this man and the men he helped save. A true story worth learning about.

It's a movie, I tend to collect War movies and some action ones Its blue ray so don't think I'm missing anything Not my favorite topic but it works. Glad I wasn't there

This is truly one of the best military produced movies in many years. It’s realistic & filled with plenty of jar breaking action & doesn’t leave a stone unturned as far as War goes. Shows plenty of bravery and compassion. This movie doesn’t disappoint and is true to the War Story. This movie is surely worth the purchase and can really be appreciated for all the fine acting and story plots.

Great film and action. 4K upgrade from my Blu-ray copy was well worth it. Fantastic story of over coming the odds and perseverance. Well acted and directed.

Great WW2 Story of a man with serious convictions based on his faith and early childhood experiences and how that effected his view of serving others. The blu-ray has an amazing picture and sound that puts you on the battlefield.

One of the best war movies I've seen. Very realistic. Incredible true story about a very brave medic who risked his life to save so many others. This should have received best movie. Check this movie out and you will be inspired.
