The evening was a bit rough, but it's such a great take off a man who made an impossible choice in the army following his faith. LOVE this movie.

Hacksaw Ridge is an excellent movie that highlights Action Faith. Plenty of action and plenty of faith. I wish more movies about the reality of Christianity were produced by Hollywood.

One of my all time favorite movies and it is a true story!!! No capes or superpowers but a real hero unlike no other. I'm amazed.

It is hard to imagine someone going through the battle side of the story much less what happened before. In inspiration of a man standing up for his faith and belief and a true story.

Very poignant war movie based on a true story. The cinematography is top notch showing that you can be a true hero without having to use violence against violence. Highly recommended.

I enjoy movies that are based on true stories. This movie told the story about an individual that did not want to pick up arms but wanted to save lives instead. I truly enjoyed the movie

Great Movie! Everyone needs to see this movie. Great story and acting.

Interesting choices were made by Mel in this movie. There is an old school feel, as though made in the era it takes place. Some lines are corny and some lines are great. It felt like the first part of Captain America the first Avenger, as the story progress, you feel Mel shows up. It isn't anything like what Mel has directed before. I enjoyed the film but had to temper my expectations .

Simply one of the best war films I have ever seen in my life. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. Fantastic story. Fantastic directing by Mel Gibson. Fantastic film. MUST SEE!
