It is a shame that Americans do not know this man's name or story. War movie is far from the best ever but it is a story every Amercian needs to see. A stellar American History lesson.

I have heard these stories before, and read a few but did not really get the impact of the stories until I saw it come alive in this film! I am very impressed with the entire project!!

This is one of the best movies ever made. Folks that don’t watch war movies will miss out on a great story. What makes the movie great is it’s based on a true story.

A great movie to watch but if you think its subject matter (thou shall not kill) makes it a perhaps family movie to watch be prepared for (my wife's opinion) the most violent scenes ever. For some reason, Mel Gibson's directed movies bring up Sam Peckinpah to mind. All-in-all, great acting, editing, effects and plot (wow, basically a true story--really!) and a good purchase moneywise.

Excellent movie all the way around A+++ I would suggest seeing it if you haven't already done so.

Wonderful movie, inspirational story. Glad to see a real life HERO as the subject of a great movie. Andy Garfield is amazing in the role of a Medal of Honor winner.

Found it really cheap in the store. It's not the best movie since Saving Private Ryan as the front cover says, but it's definitely a great movie.

This movie on 4k just as good as in theater. I would rank this movie up there with the best movies that never gets old. The fact that it's a true story enhances it greatly.

Mel Gibson, Is a Visionary. The movie is about a Man. That thinks its better to Save Lives Instead. Of taking Lives. It well Written & Worth buying on 4K. Drama at its Finest.

Found that movie in the Black Friday weekend and it was cheap... haven’t seen the movie.

This film is up there with Saving Private Ryan in engaging WWII drama and action. Amazing camera work and practical effects. Very well done direction by Mel Gibson. Fantastic casting.

Amazing steelbook. Looks nice and the finishes are great. They don’t leave finger traces. Highly recommended!

I wasn't looking forward to watching this especially since its a true story but was a gift to my husband. This was a great movie and story. I'm so glad I watched it and will again.

It always amazes me when an individual goes above and beyond the norm! This story of heroism and selflessness against all odds proves that there is a higher standard we can attain!

A well written, directed and acted movie. Keeps your interest from start to finish. The Blu-Ray has excellent picture and sound. Well worth buying. One of my favorite movies.

Hacksaw ridge is my new favorite movie! Has everything all in 1 movie. God, love, war, etc. Graphics were awesome! Already watched it 5 times and not even close to being tired of it.

Phenomenal film; even better if you have a Dolby Atmos setup! An amazing story that builds around the main character and has incredible imagery. One of the best movies of the year.
