This is a great movie based on a true story if you are questioning watching it it is totally worth it

Grim, but true. Proves once again Mel has what it takes to direct some of the finest films out there.

Went in to get this and another Blu-ray, always hit or miss on the availability of titles and packages. Got hacksaw in Blu-ray but was not going to settle for Inferno in DVD. They were out of a major movie. Hacksaw is graphic but what an incredible story!

While many say this is the best war film since saving private Ryan, I'll say it's up there but not close to SPR. It's still a very excellent movie. It's up there with the likes of "We were soldiers" and "Black Hawk Down" definitely worth buying on blu ray
