Hacksaw Ridge deserved a Best Story nod at the Oscars! The story is phenomenal! Andrew Garfield did some of his best acting as PFC Doss.

The story was great and the action was real, I saw it with a relative that was in the pacific thater durin ww2 said the action was real

when the trailer came out I didn't think I would like the movie but word of mouth convinced me to give it a try and I love the movie.

There is a lot of blood and gore but in actuality it was probably much worse in real life. Hard to believe this really happened.
