If you enjoy WWII movies or just want a fantastic true story of a man of conviction about his faith, THIS IS IT !! Sooo inspirational. Desmond Doss biography. He was a native Virginian, from the Roanoke area. The only conscientious objector to ever get the Congressional Medal of Honor. A Seventh Day Adventist. I could easily watch this poignant (and yet portions of extreme combat violence depicted) movie multiple times.

This was a very well directed movie by Mel Gibson. Based on a real event that occurred during World War 2 at Okinawa. The first instance of a conscientious objector who would not carry a weapon. Treated as a coward initially, the main character of this film eventually proved to be far more heroic than others thought he could ever be. He saved approximately 75 American lives as a paramedic, and had to do it on his own behind enemy lines. This movie is not so much about an event of war, but it was about a humble man that stuck to his beliefs and won the respect of those that fought along side him as he fought to save lives. In 4K this movie is exceptional. The clarity of the picture, and, if you are completely 4K set-up; TV, Amplifier, Blu-ray player and HDMI Cables.... The sound quality will blow you off your couch. Yes, it’s that good!!
