Great Movie, watched entire thing without being bored

Based upon true events, this feature movie reveals the powerful story about Hacksaw Ridge and a young man named Desmond Doss who wants to do his part in the war, but doesn't want to carry a gun. His troup is baffled by his refusal to fight, after all, they are at war. They ridicule him and beat him up, but Doss doesn't give in to their mistreatment of him. The events take a turn in Doss' favor when a captain's attempt to have him dishonorably discharged are thwarted when his father obtains a letter from a higher ranking officer to support his son's constitutional right not to bare arms. Doss wins and is able to serve as a medic during WWII to save lives even though he is a conscientious objector. Despite the dangers, Doss saves seventy five of his troup, asking God to "Please let me save one more" repeatedly.
