Mel Gibson has more than redeemed himself with Hacksaw Ridge. It's definitely one of the better war movies that I have ever watched including Sergeant York.

This movie is based on a true story. There is a lot of lead up till the action, but once the action hit, it was really intense. It was a pretty good movie.

Remember seeing this movie in the theater and watching it at home you'll appericate it just that much more. Amazing movie it will not disappoint

I was unimpressed with the previews for this film (it seemed a bit corny), but the movie itself was really quite good. The cinematography is outstanding!

Good movie (and true story) of a conscientious objector who becomes a medic and goes on to save a lot of lives and become a hero. Not a bad film.

Enjoyed the movie. Based on a true story makes it more enthralling in my opinion. Lots of war violence and gore, so it's not for the faint of heart.

People say comparable to Saving Private Ryan but has each WWII Story has different Stories and this one really stands out with conviction and true spirit!!

Would recommend about a boy from Lynchburg, VA...go USA during WW II....my father served in the war in the pacific on the Yorktown at the battle of Midway

So for those who like to watch period war movies. This one is different than most. Well done and touching. Showing a different side to war.

Great movie, crisp picture. My reason for four starts is that the audio on this UHD did not impress me as it has with other movies in this category.

Hacksaw Ridge was recommended to me by a friend and it was one of the best movies I've seen in a long time especially since I'm a military member.

If you love World War II movies this is a must to add to your collection.
