A great WWII movie showcasing the things that men can accomplish with courage of conviction. Also highlights the societal damage that war causes and what a terrible waste of human life it is.

This movie explores a part of the military we tend to overlook. It was refreshing to learn about this man, his beliefs and how he worked around them to show the loyalty he had to his country.

I was concerned when I heard that Vince Vaughn was cast in the movie, but I have to say he ended up doing a great job. All things considered it was a very good movie and well worth purchasing.

I really enjoyed this movie. Everything about it had me hooked. The acting, cinematography, story just everything. It ranks right up there with my favorite war movie and that is Saving Private

A worth whole movie to watch and own as it gives a person an idea of what the war was like.

This is an extremely well done war film. It is gripping, it is terrifying, and it is an inspirational story. The acting is very well done. Overall, it is a solid 5 stars. Highly recommended.

Based on a true story, another example of the proverbial you cannot judge a book by its cover. Very dramatic and historically informative.

This usually isn't my type of film, but the acting, cinematography, and storyline is just spectacular!!! The video quality is amazing as well, but the film itself would even be VHS worthy.

went to see this movie in the theaters and really enjoyed it. the movie is a war story in the private ryan style. very graphic.the story is a inspirational story of the bravery of a conscientious objector . gives you new respect for what soldiers had to do to defeat our enemies. the blu ray quality is great and the battle scenes are quite vivid. if you don't mind blood and guts i highly recommend.

I really enjoyed this movie. The battle scenes were hard to watch. Another awesome example of the greatest generation. An inspiring movie about a very humble and heroic individual.

Very close to the book and realistically portrays the horror of war and it's dutiful soldiers. Amazing directing and acting. saw it at the theater, read the book, and had to own the movie!

Some of the bravest men in combat are the medics. They put themselves on the line without a means of protecting themselves. This is an excellent movie that's well worth your time watching.

This movie based on a true story is a miraculous tale of one man, totally unarmed, saving dozens of men in a few days. And also venturing into enemy territory, all by himself! Unbelievable!

It is very sad that we are just hearing about stories like this. These men and women are the backbone of America and we are losing them every day. Some of their stories will be lost forever.

This is a fantastic film. Well worth owning on Blu-ray for the awesome audio and visuals. You’ll want to watch it again and again.

Our family sat down and watched it together and when it was over, my son said that seeing and feeling the experiences of those brave men, made him want to be a better man. I loved this show!
