went to see this movie in the theaters and really enjoyed it. the movie is a war story in the private ryan style. very graphic.the story is a inspirational story of the bravery of a conscientious objector . gives you new respect for what soldiers had to do to defeat our enemies. the blu ray quality is great and the battle scenes are quite vivid. if you don't mind blood and guts i highly recommend.

Some of the bravest men in combat are the medics. They put themselves on the line without a means of protecting themselves. This is an excellent movie that's well worth your time watching.

Very close to the book and realistically portrays the horror of war and it's dutiful soldiers. Amazing directing and acting. saw it at the theater, read the book, and had to own the movie!

This movie based on a true story is a miraculous tale of one man, totally unarmed, saving dozens of men in a few days. And also venturing into enemy territory, all by himself! Unbelievable!

It is very sad that we are just hearing about stories like this. These men and women are the backbone of America and we are losing them every day. Some of their stories will be lost forever.

I really enjoyed this movie. The battle scenes were hard to watch. Another awesome example of the greatest generation. An inspiring movie about a very humble and heroic individual.

Our family sat down and watched it together and when it was over, my son said that seeing and feeling the experiences of those brave men, made him want to be a better man. I loved this show!

Picked up this disc after buying a Oppo 203 4k Blu Ray player. All I can say is the picture with HDR and sound with Dolby Atmos are stunning. Hacksaw Ridge is one of my favorites from 2016.

A really interesting and remarkable true story of this man who was a hero in WW2 during the battle to take Hackshaw Ridge in Japan. Well worth watching if you enjoy these types of movies.

As my hubby has been in Okinawa it ment allot to watch this movie. Great action and a real tear jerker. The best military film in a long time. True action and as far as I know true to life.

Great movie the DVD played through completely without any stops, stalls or glitches. Also, the Best Buy employee was quite knowledgable and helpful with finding the DVD's I was looking for.

This should have won best picture. Just a great script and great balancing the war and religion in the movie. Lots of brutal war violence but it is a Mel Gibson movie so u should expect it

The Oscars have lost all credibility naming MOONLIGHT as best picture of the year. HACKSAW RIDGE was not only the Best Picture Of The Year, but one of the greatest war films of all-time. .

Courage can come in many forms. This movie is based on a true story and well worth the watch. Takes place during ww2 and can be a little violent but I would not call this just a war movie.

Watching this movie in 4k with great audio on 130" screen is another level experience.

I enjoyed this Clint Eastwood directed movie. There was much realism to help the viewer understand how an individual could be awarded a medal despite not seeking to kill.
