Customer Ratings & Reviews

Best movie I've seen in a long time. Truly the epitome of heart, desire, and faith by a soldier named Desmond Doss who willed himself to save 75 lives during the battle of Hacksaw Ridge.

Hacksaw Ridge is an excellent movie that highlights Action Faith. Plenty of action and plenty of faith. I wish more movies about the reality of Christianity were produced by Hollywood.

Love this so much!!! I just had to have the DVD!! This movie so inspirational and positive in so many levels. This is a great movie to watch

Excellent retelling of a great story! A must see...Great story with amazing special effects. Actual clips at the end and interviews really make this a great story that needed to be told.

Very Brutal Battle Scenes. A Very Good Film that tells the True Story of this Hero. Great Camera Work, Great Sound, Great Editing. History Buff's and War Movie Buff's will Like the Film.

I enjoy movies that are based on true stories. This movie told the story about an individual that did not want to pick up arms but wanted to save lives instead. I truly enjoyed the movie

It is hard to imagine someone going through the battle side of the story much less what happened before. In inspiration of a man standing up for his faith and belief and a true story.

Very poignant war movie based on a true story. The cinematography is top notch showing that you can be a true hero without having to use violence against violence. Highly recommended.

ANOTHER EXCELLENT INSPIRATIONAL EXAMPLE OF LAYING DOWN YOUR LIFE UNDER GOD'S COMMAND TO SAVE OTHERS. I REALLY LOVE THIS AWESOME MOVIE!

A great WW2 movie that looks even better on 4K! Lionsgate did a treat job on this release.

Lionsgate does an incredible job with their steelbook releases. This isn't the most amazing but still looks great

Awesome deal on this Xbox Game on Black Friday for a Xmas gift for my teenage nephew. I look forward to seeing what great deals Best Buy has to offer on Black Friday every year!

sometimes streaming does not get it done and you need the media to get the fill effect. Great action movie in 4k that looks and sounds great using a 4k blue-ray and TV.

One of the best war movies I have seen. Very emotional and the story gives you a perspective of humanity that is rarely good in war movies.

Interesting choices were made by Mel in this movie. There is an old school feel, as though made in the era it takes place. Some lines are corny and some lines are great. It felt like the first part of Captain America the first Avenger, as the story progress, you feel Mel shows up. It isn't anything like what Mel has directed before. I enjoyed the film but had to temper my expectations .

This movie really puts you in the boots on the front line. Really interesting perspective as well. Really went down a rabbit hole reading about the medic... great man!

It is a shame that Americans do not know this man's name or story. War movie is far from the best ever but it is a story every Amercian needs to see. A stellar American History lesson.

I have heard these stories before, and read a few but did not really get the impact of the stories until I saw it come alive in this film! I am very impressed with the entire project!!

A great movie to watch but if you think its subject matter (thou shall not kill) makes it a perhaps family movie to watch be prepared for (my wife's opinion) the most violent scenes ever. For some reason, Mel Gibson's directed movies bring up Sam Peckinpah to mind. All-in-all, great acting, editing, effects and plot (wow, basically a true story--really!) and a good purchase moneywise.

Simply one of the best war films I have ever seen in my life. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. Fantastic story. Fantastic directing by Mel Gibson. Fantastic film. MUST SEE!
