Customer Ratings & Reviews

Mel Gibson vision of war is bloodthirsty and realistic, but hopeful. Seeing kindness and bravery, self-sacrifice, and selflessness in such a brutal context is refreshing.

Amazing steelbook. Looks nice and the finishes are great. They don’t leave finger traces. Highly recommended!

A worth whole movie to watch and own as it gives a person an idea of what the war was like.

The story told here is a powerful one. Andrew's performance is strong and resonates with so many people. There is a passion in the film that is hard not to respect.

Excellent film, excellent writing, excellent acting. The 4K version of this film really shines. The picture and sound quality are top notch.

I have known veterans of this battle and from what they tell me it was a horror... This depiction is very moving and the story is an inspiration for any generation...

This was one of the best war movies I have seen. The realities of war were depicted well in this film. Mel Gibson definitely directed another Oscar worthy performance.

This movie has romance, family dynamics and of course the horrors of war. Very intense and especially interesting because it is based on a true story. A classic.

Very realistic looking WWII action and a terrific story make this movie a winner. HDR/4K picture quality was good not great and the Atmos audio soundtrack was very good.

The action in this movie was a big WOW I just couldn't imagine being in war and without a gun to help protection myself. Once again Mel Gibson did a fine job directing.

Easily one of the best war films ever. Andrew Garfield's performance is magnetic and the story and directions is moving.

A conscientious objector serving his country. An exciting story about an Army medic risking his life to save not only his brothers-in-arms, but enemy soldiers as well.

I was not sure of this one. I had read some reviews on Amazon and it seemed to get mixed reviews. I'm glad I purchased the movie -- very interesting and well done.

This movie is so impactful and inspirational! The Steelbook is such a nice texture and good condition! A great purchase and film!

truly a breathtaking cinematic viewing of a true to life story of a man that stuck to his beliefs and may have been punished for it but ended up changing so many lives.

I've already reviewed the movie on the bluray edition. This is for the 4K HD version. Simply stunning!!! So, so amazing.

I love epic war movies based on true stories. Hacksaw Ridge did not disappoint. A few graphic scenes and would recommend prior viewing before allowing minor to watch.

If it wasn't based on a true story, it would be hard to believe what one person can accomplish in the face of terrible adversity. Gritty and well acted.

I saw this movie at the theater I was amazed. Very realistic war movie more than private Ryan powerful movie very good acting. I highly recommend this movie buy it now!

Great movie that is based on a true story! Crazy to think that one would go to war without a weapon but with some faith it worked out!
