At first I'm thinking another far fetch war story until I realized this story is true. Mel Gibson has another Braveheart. Battle scenes are gorie. Good movie

Obviously extremely violent and graphic but certainly reflects the horrors of the wars our soldiers have always experienced in the protection of our freedoms.

The movie is graphic, and the true story is very heart wrenching. It is extremely encouraging to see how someone is able to stand up for his convictions.

Excellent movie based on a true story. Bonus features alone make it a Best Buy. Also I received it in the mail very quickly.

This is up there with Saving Private Ryan! If you are into war movies, you will definately like if not love this movie. Great specail effects.

I watched this first as a blue ray and recently got it on 4K and it was a million times better in 4K. I was shocked the detail that was there.

The whole movie was great the start of it reminds me of FMJ but unlike that movie I was actually able to watch all of it because I was hooked

This one of the best war flicks ever and should have won movie of the year. It is tough to watch as the battle scenes are so realistic. A true American hero.

Interesting true story Pros: True Story Good acting Realistic war scenes Liked the end where they showed the real people Cons: Vince Vaugh miscasted

But he sure knows how to put together a war movie. Of course it did have some artistic and other changes to move the story along but it was an amazing film.

One of the best looking steelbooks I have seen. Also the best war movie since Saving Private Ryan.

One of the best war movies . Usually soldiers are sent to kill enemies but this one is to rescue them and his own solders. Good one to watch.

My whole family saw it in the theater. We all loved it. The storyline was so good. The war scenes were intense. It was amazing what Private Daws had done.

This is going to either be a heart felt movie or a possible tear jerker depending on its audience. Great acting and I feel he was robbed of his oscar

This is a very good movie about one living his convictions while also willing to sacrifice everything to save his fellow soldiers, and live out his faith.

As a rule I am not a fan of war movies, but Hacksaw Ridge is definately an exception. The story line had me completely engaged from the begining to the end.
