Love this movie a the true story of a hero. Interview at the end adds so much

Highly recommended. Great movie directed by Mel Gibson, very powerful performances from the entire cast.

I was really skeptical of Garfields ability to carry a movie, but not only does he deliver, but Mel Gibson continues to show his amazing ability to direct.

i would recommend watching this movie. it feels like a WW@ being fought in the Pacific, which it is. it accomplishes the goal of telling the story of the combat medic and some points it even exceeds expectations of humor. the story is not uber-deep but it does a fine job and the sound is pretty good with explosions and directional gunfire.

It's a little on the violent side, and not suitable for all children. It is well written, and an excellent portrayal of the events on Hacksaw Ridge.
