This movie which was based on a true story is as good as id say saving Private Ryan. The Actors who portrayed were the right people for the job.

Seen this movie in theaters and just needed it for my collection. Great quality movie with wonderful sound.

This movie is extremely well done. The action is great but the real story is in the acting Andrew Garfield nails it.. you will not be disappointed

Deserving of all the awards. Best war movie since Saving Private Ryan. Plays the emotional level like Ryan, Chariots and Notebook rolled together.

Let me preface by sayin many people told me Hacksaw Ridge was a great movie so I had high expectations coming in. The last 20-30 minutes of the movie is great, the first 1.5 hours seems to build to that. Love story is spot on. Something was just missing, it was good but not great (maybe expectations were too high).

This movie will definitely pull at your heart strings! It is a war movie and it is graphic. But the story is inspiring. Definitely worth watching!

I didn't know what to expect from this one. My husband picked it out, and it ended up being a really great movie! I most definitely recommend it.

this is a bit brutal at times but shows how our soldiers fought for us and what a huge difference one man can make - even without carrying a gun!

Great movie. Enjoyed how it went from hero's youth through his extreme courage under fire. Andrew Garfield excellent in his role as Desmond Doss.

This movie was probably my favorite movie of the year. If "Saving Private Ryan" and "Forest Gump" had a movie love-child, it would be this movie.
