I saw the movie in the theater. I had read the story about the heroism of Desmond Doss in World War II. What a true American Hero!!

Great true story movie by Mel. Vince brought his comedic side to parts of the movie to make you laugh. truly an awesome faith film.

Prime example of a war movie made in the modern era, centered around a man's convictions to not bring about death and violence.

I really enjoyed this movie. It is a bit graphic and, of course, a dramatization of history but it is very well written and acted.

Mel Gibson returns in the director chair and puts out this great movie. Very enjoyable from start to finish. Highly recommended.

I bought this because a recommendation from my family member who told me it was a great movie. The story line was good because its based on a true story. I gave it 4 stars because I had a hard time taking Vince Vaughn in a serious role and was waiting for him to bust out in his comedy.

People compare this movie to Saving Private Ryan they are both different movies. But its a great movie that i like the story line.

Sometimes the violence is borderline cartoonish, but what else can you expect from the guy who gave us Passion of the Christ and Apocalypto?! Not as good as Saving Private Ryan, but pretty solid war epic. Very immersive Atmos track that fills the room with bullets and debris with some strong low end.

This was a very good movie I would Definitely recommended to friends and family members Gave a very good perspective of things.

A very visceral, touching film about wartime sacrifice, brought to emotional life by Mel Gibson. The movie itself is worth the purchase, but the 4K trasnfer is really gorgeous. The detail and color is stunning and raises this head and shoulders above its Blu Ray counterpart. Very much worth owning!

Would recommend purchasing movie. Purchased for daughter an has been good for quality family time .
