Bought for 14 year old he likes it. It’s a good movie

Although the production does not compare with other great WWII movies such as, Saving Private Ryan, A Bridge too Far or Patton, the movie does deserve consideration as it is the true life story of a very humble man and true American Hero. It spite of over whelming odds Desmond Doss managed to remain true to both his personal beliefs and principals and at the same time he served his Country with unwavering bravery and dedication to duty. The movie itself fell short in that many of its props and sets were only fair. One scene in which a US Battleship was suppose to be providing artillery support for Army personnel made me feel as though I was watching an Xbox video game! However, In spite of its flaws I would recommend the movie as the life story of Desmond Doss deserves to be told to all.

Epic true story well done. The story line is amazing along with the scenes.

For those who support the military or are against what the military stands for....Hacksaw Ridge is a must see for anyone.
