Worth six stars. This movie showcases the will of one man to stand by his convictions and to beat all odds thrown at him. The determination to believe in himself and his faith and stand firm to those believes saved many wounded heros in their own right.

This movie ranks right up there with Band of Brothers and Saving Private Ryan for realistic cinematography. The story is based on a real WWII hero, and covers some of the struggles he endured while wanted to serve in the military.

Amazing and true story. Great visuals and sound. We need more films like this to remind America how men of valor fought and died for the freedoms that we take for granted in today’s culture.

Really good movie! It is a bit graphic. No, it’s very graphic. It is rated R, so that makes sence. It was delivered in a good package, nice and protected. Very good story and lots of action!

You will laugh, cry, gasp, and be on the edge of your seat. This is the best war movie I haveever seen hands down. And the picture quality is so clear you feel like you are there! My wife loved it too. It has a love story mixed in with the action.

Incredible film. Jaw dropping scenes. Did not expect this story to be this intense. Amazing charters and acting . This is a must have in 4K. The visuals and sounds are 100% satisfying.

Man this movie is amazing. It comes with a digital copy so I was able to compare the digital movie with the 4K and blu ray versions. Let me tell you it's worth buying and supporting the disk format. Picture and audio quality that you wouldn't believe.

I fell off the Mel Gibson bandwagon after his many controversies, but Hacksaw Ridge is an excellent movie. At least he is behind the camera, and not in front of it. As for the movie itself, Andrew Garfield is excellent in this. Also, 4K. Nice!

Such a fantastic story it’s amazing to hear what he did and how many life’s he saved and what he did not only by not shooting at anyone but by saving 75 life’s

If you like full metal jacket than this movie is for you, if you like military films than surly you will like this one that's all I can say. Buy it and you will have no regret besides it's a true event with actual footage of the guy receiving metals

I'm not a huge war film person, but do enjoy documentaries. This movie combines both wonderfully! With some parts that make you wish that everyone could be that compassionate, caring, and dedicated! Definitely recommend it to anyone.

As usual, there is no directors commentary, which would be quite entertaining from a guy like Mel,i would imagine. Awesome film though, and a really well done documentary along with a few odds and ends. All around an above average blu ray experience.

Hacksaw Ridge is a great movie for any library. The movie is based off actual characters and events. It takes a little to set the background but then takes off and then keeps you riveted to the screen. It is a great story of overcoming great odds.

This is a great movie, very well done. Should not only be part of every war movie buff, but even those only partially interested in war movies. The story and acting is great. The fact it is based on a true story is unbelievable. Definitely recommend!

Good army movies a lot of action a lot of bombs going off lotta good moments in this pretty much for adults in middle aged kids not for toddlers

I've run Boston 3 times, fortunately not 2013. The elements of the race, Boston sites, were very accurate and true to life. The story followed the actual events , but also included informative details and human interest insights. Highly recommended.

This movie draws you in deeper as it moves along. By the end of the movie you can't believe how truly brave this man was & how much he accomplished by himself. I loved it as much as Band Of Brothers. Once again Mel Gibson gives us a movie to relish.

Should have been Best Pictures award. War at it's best is terrible to all concerned the man being portrayed was an unique individual who stood by his beliefs even when his fellow soldiers were giving him duress eventually winning the respect of all.

The true story of a man who doesn't believe in weapons.. But fight a war and helping those in the line of fire. Such heart and emotion in the movie.. Makes you have hope there might still be more people like this left today...

A great movie, truly well done, the director and producer did wonderful work portraying the story without straying away from the truth. A few slow parts but a gripping intro and ending, overall it kept you glued to the screen.
