I really enjoyed this movie a lot. I didn't know much about it before I purchased it but got it because it was recommended by several people. But if you like war/military movies that are based on true stories than this is one movie to own.

Great directing, great production, excellent portrayal of one battle in WW 2. My uncle was there, but he never wanted to talk about it...I can understand why. The Medal of Honor winner and a few comrades are shown as cameos...a nice bonus.

This film has intense, nonstop action. Realistic battle scenes. I like that it was based on a true story. You really get a feel for what WWII veterans experienced as young men, and a better appreciation of their service to our country.

Great movie. Watched it on my Dolby Atmos set up and it sounds AWESOME!!!! Great spiritual message and a great life message. The story line covers so much. I’ve watched thousands of movies, if i give it 5 stars you’ll love it.

Violence against his brother when they were boys really made an impact as he almost killed him so when he grew up he concentrated on helping instead of injuring....Good love and valor movie

This movie will blow you away specially when you realize that it's a true story and that this remarkable man accomplished so much in such a short period of time. Stay to the end and watch the credits you'll find in the be most remarkable.

Mel gibson did a superb job in the war scenes. The story was incredibly well portrayed and the acting was great. The sounds of the war were also fantastic on my home theater. Andrew Garfield did true justice in the leading roll as a C O .

Beautiful art on the steelbook along with the slipcover. The movie on its own amazing and heartfelt. Definitely the best war movie since Saving Private Ryan.

Mel Gibson created a memorable story about a true hero who hitherto was only known in two communities: the Congressional Medal of Honor recipients and the members of the Seventh Day Adventists. Desmond Doss can now be known to many more.

I am not a huge war fan, but love true stories. The man that the film wa about talked and had film showing him in real life, after the feature. The fact that he was so brave to be in war and didn't have to be made him a hero in my eyes.

A WW2 movie with great aspiring feeling. Video is top notch. Audio is great. Wish I had an Dolby Atmos system to experience it though. The bonus features will disappoint but I wasn't because this is such a great movie to watch and own.

One of the best War/Military movies to date! Andrew Garfield puts on one of his best performances as Desmond Doss! This will forever be one of my favorites

This was a wonderful film conveying a dramatic and poinient story. The script and acting were both excellent, the cinematic sequences we remarkably realistic and the the film was made all the better by understanding it was a true story.

This has gone down as one of my favorite movies of all time. Incredible true story with exceptional acting by unexpected actor (Vaughn as a drill sergeant, WHAT!!) Must own movie that will leave you in a good place!! Highly recommended.

This is a must see movie...even if you don't like war movies. It has an awesome message to share with the world and the writers and actors portrayed Army Medic Doss with much respect, heroism, and dignity. Definitely worth watching!

The story telling is great, and it is really touching that this is is a real story. 4K transfer is great. I have some other 4K with HDR titles, but they were a little disappointing, but this 4K is really showing the sharpness and HDR.

An excellent war film that belongs in the company of Saving Private Ryan. Hacksaw Ridge is about a medic who never fires a shot in the Battle of Okinawa. His faith and conviction lead to his bravery and heroism. A truly remarkable film.
