I am not a huge war fan, but love true stories. The man that the film wa about talked and had film showing him in real life, after the feature. The fact that he was so brave to be in war and didn't have to be made him a hero in my eyes.

Mel Gibson created a memorable story about a true hero who hitherto was only known in two communities: the Congressional Medal of Honor recipients and the members of the Seventh Day Adventists. Desmond Doss can now be known to many more.

A WW2 movie with great aspiring feeling. Video is top notch. Audio is great. Wish I had an Dolby Atmos system to experience it though. The bonus features will disappoint but I wasn't because this is such a great movie to watch and own.

Lots of real people displaying how and what war was like back in this period. So many lifes were lost for our country. This is a great story of history and helps you understand what we may not have know about the war.

This was a wonderful film conveying a dramatic and poinient story. The script and acting were both excellent, the cinematic sequences we remarkably realistic and the the film was made all the better by understanding it was a true story.

This is a must see movie...even if you don't like war movies. It has an awesome message to share with the world and the writers and actors portrayed Army Medic Doss with much respect, heroism, and dignity. Definitely worth watching!

Andrew Garfield really shows his acting skills in this outing and in my honest opinion i also think this is Mel Gibson's greatest directorial work

The story telling is great, and it is really touching that this is is a real story. 4K transfer is great. I have some other 4K with HDR titles, but they were a little disappointing, but this 4K is really showing the sharpness and HDR.

This has gone down as one of my favorite movies of all time. Incredible true story with exceptional acting by unexpected actor (Vaughn as a drill sergeant, WHAT!!) Must own movie that will leave you in a good place!! Highly recommended.

This move is one of the best true stories I've seen in a long time. I seen it in the theater. An when it came out on sale in 4k. I had to have it. If you haven't seen this movie. Us should go get it right now. You won't be sorry.

An excellent war film that belongs in the company of Saving Private Ryan. Hacksaw Ridge is about a medic who never fires a shot in the Battle of Okinawa. His faith and conviction lead to his bravery and heroism. A truly remarkable film.

Not really into war movies and I always get very negative and the minute I see it something about that almost didn't watch it but the husband said it was gonna be good so I give it a shot and I thought it was fantastic glad I watched it

I have watched this movie several times since its purchase. For one man to rescue so many people who were wounded during the time of combat definitely makes him a hero. Hacksaw Ridge is well worth the money you pay to purchase the DVD.

Great movie. Watched it multiple times. I have standard blu Ray no 4K or anything like that so quality could be better with a better system. But I do have a Sony Bravia and it plays great

Excellent war action movie with great acting and a suspenseful story. The young lead actor reminds me of a young Tom Hanks and I believe with the right choices he will become a major star. Excellent story telling from start to finish.

This is a must-have for anyone owning a 4K UHD player, especially with a home stereo system. The movie was entertaining and moving at the same time. Andrew Garfield played the role well!

I wanted to try out a UHD blu-ray and I'm glad I chose Hacksaw Ridge. The Visuals are as crisp as you can get and the quality of the sound is top notch. Also helps that this was a great movie with phenomenal acting.

Excellent movie that tells the story of a real WWII hero that stood by his beliefs and made a huge difference in the lives of people around him without ever firing a gun. A "must see" film. And don't forget to view the extra features.

Great story about a patriot conscientious objector in WWII who saved many lives without ever carrying a gun. It does not hold back the horrors of war or the price a man had to pay for his convictions. Well acted and directed.
