Great story of a Man of Faith who put his fellow man first, and trusted in the Lord. Many Combat Medics and Chaplin's were awarded medals for bravery under fire during WWII. My parish priest was a Medal Of Honor recipient.

This man portrayed in the movie is truly the epitome of love for his fellow man. In the midst of war, he saw how he could serve his fellow soldiers without causing death himself. An amazing true story and an amazing true man!

I read about this gentleman many years ago...Always wondered why a movie had not been made of his story...Mel Gibson might be a flawed human being but his Directorial instincts are right on...Solid performances throughout...

instant war classic and a drama hit on the silver screen. so much realism and another side of man's story unveiled.

It costs 30 to 50 dollars to take 3 people to the movies.....If you have a 4K TV and player you can save money by buying the 4K disk and watching it at home . In some ways the experience is better than going out to see it.

I haven't seen a movie like this since Saving Private Ryan. Great story, great action overall great everything. Very graphic at times, but that is war. I highly recommend this movie.....especially if you have a home theater.

This war movie is one of the best ever! The main character, who would not pick up a gun, saved so many lives and is an American hero! Really cool seeing it in 4K!

I am not a war movie fan but I liked this movie. It's hard to think of someone sticking to their moral beliefs (big lack of it these days) so it was heartwarming (yet almost difficult) to watch this guy stick to his.

This was my first "pre-order" purchase. Everything Best Buy did was right in line with what I expected. The movie is a good as advertised; however, there was an abundance of combat gore that isn't suitable for most viewers.

This is a tremendous film. Much better than anything that's come out in several years. Mel Gibson again proved he makes some of the best movies and this true story of an American hero is awesome. Can't recommend it enough.

This movie was excellent. Even with all the blood and violence which is to be expected in a war movie I was captivated from the first minute. The story told in this movie was amazing and is one I would recommend to anyone.

This is truly one of the best military produced movies in many years. It’s realistic & filled with plenty of jar breaking action & doesn’t leave a stone unturned as far as War goes. Shows plenty of bravery and compassion. This movie doesn’t disappoint and is true to the War Story. This movie is surely worth the purchase and can really be appreciated for all the fine acting and story plots.

I'm a big War movie fan and I really loved this movie. But my Wife also enjoyed it and she's not into War movies like I am. This is a very well-made movie and it arrived very soon after I ordered it online. A+ all around!!

Andrew Garfield's best roll yet, and Mel Gibson's top directed movie since Braveheart. Biggest surprise was Vince Vaughn. Oh, don't forget about Hugo Weaving as well! Must see if you like war movies with a love story.

This movie was amazing . True story and a true super hero movie . This man Desmond Doss should inspire us all. Superman - fake hero , Doss -Real hero. Mel Gibson is an amazing director and Andrew Garfield did a fine job .

A true testament to Desmond Doss. A hero in every sense of the word. And Mel Gibson should be acknowledged for his effort in recognizing this hero!

If you recently upgraded to 4K and need a good movie to really see the quality difference. This movie is perfect. Not only is it a great movie but you feel like your in a movie theater. Completely shot and edited in 4K.

Andrew Garfield really shows his acting skills in this outing and in my honest opinion i also think this is Mel Gibson's greatest directorial work

This movie is a true story about a conscientious objector who served in WWII as a medic. It tells the story of how he did his part to save lives. If you have a good sound system, you'll really enjoy the action even more.

Mel may have gotten in trouble years ago, but he still directed the best film of the year, my opinion anyway. Great true story, fantastic battle scenes, fro mt he man who brought us Brave Heart, this is a real good one
