It is sometimes hard to watch a war movie, and this is no exception. It is very graphic and bloody. But the story of Desmond Doss is one that will be in my memory for a long time. A true, selfless American hero!

This movie does a great job at portraying the true story of a medic that wants to save lives without taking them. I’ve seen it three times, so I’m buying it so I might share it with others!

I'll say first, you should really enjoy war movies and be okay with graphic scenes if you are going to watch this. That said, the video quality was top notch. Definitely worth adding to a 4k Bluray collection

I am a Veteran & even wondered if I really wanted to see this one. Mel Gibson making this was the deciding factor. Sure glad I did ! True story that will win you over. This is Definitely one For your collection.

I always have a good experience shopping online and picking up my items at the store. What I like about this purchase was that I have seen the movie several times before I bout it and like these kinds of movies.

I watched this movie 3 or 4 times during the same weekend that I bought it! I love it because it's based on a true story of a real hero during the time of the Pearl Harbor attack. It's a must watch movie!!

Love the movie. The picture and sound were stunning on 4k and OLED. Even the sound was out of this world. The story is amazing. I especially love the actual pictures of the people the movie was about.

Excellent WWII movie. Very graphic and realistic. Not for everyone. Good example of the sacrifices made during the war. I would recommend this movie to others. I would recommend the movie to others.

This was is the best movie I have seen this year. It's a hard to believe that this was a true story. Any person that could do such a thing, had to have a lot of spiritual help which I believe in very strongly.

Didn't know the story until I saw the film. Knew right away I needed to add this to my collection not only for me but for future generations who need to know what it truly means to be committed and hold to it.

If not the best, at least one of a hand full of true stories, placed on film. It was very well screen played so you had no missing pieces of the story. Great film. Need more movies made as this one was.

Fantastic movie all around! This movie is of course great for anyone who enjoys action or war movies, but it also has a great message about faith and perseverance and doing the right thing. Excellent movie!!

Love this movie! If you like war movies this is for you. Great action and the best part is it’s a TRUE story about a very remarkable man and what he does is just amazing!! A MUST watch !!

3.5 stars. I always kept hearing how awesome this movie was but thought it was okay. Why did I buy it...it was a $7 blind buy. Vince Vaughns charcter is just not convincing. I'm so used to him being in comedies. So him trying to be serious and yelling at other soldiers just made me chuckle. It looked like he was really trying.

A little slow at the beginning which is normal for telling a story , but movie itself was very intense, a lot of history --should have more from like this of our service men --enjoyed and would watch again.

The action and gore in this movie was insane when paired with my lg OLED...the fire and blacks in this movie where over the edge. Never seen this realistic looking of a movie since saving Private Ryan.

Hacksaw Ridge is a fantastic story of courage under fire. Andrew Garfield does a great job as the lead in this movie with good support from those around him. Based on a true story, this movie is a must see.

Movie had a tremendous amount of action. Very intense and exciting. Provided insight of what war conditions cause in an actual battleground. Provided the stress that combatants suffer in combat. Great plot.

Intense war movie and suspenseful throughout, awesome representation of bravery and unselfishness in hard and crucial times. 4k looks great as well!

Best war movie since the first 28 minutes of Saving Private Ryan. I really like these steelbooks with the slipcover too.
