This movie is a very good war story, because it best on Desmond Doss. Very brave soldier who refused to carry a weapon in battle. If you have a weak stomach, not for you. War scene's are very realistic.

This movie is one of the best war movies I've seen. It keeps your attention. It is action-packed and also has a love story intertwined. The main character is a real hero and I love that it's a true story.

Besides his rant years back, he has brought his a game with his most recent movies. And this one is no exception. It really is one of the best war movies, with great casting and the war feels so gritty

I thought this movie was excellent a little slow in the beginning but picked up a little later into the film I forget his name but this soldier is a true Hero I even got the theater clapping at the end.

I thoroughly enjoyed this film that was based on a true story from WWII. I caused me to also do some research. I was surprised to find that the true life story was even more amazing than the film depicted.

I have to admit how can a conscientious objector be someone you can root for? True story, makes it heartwarming. What he must've gone through that we don't See in the movie? Andrew Garfield is excellent!!!

This is truly one of those films that comes along every decade or two that will become the default answer for people's favorite war film of all time.

Great service as always when I picked this up the other week. Picture/sound quality is superb and just adds to what is alredy an extraordinary achievement by Mel Gibson. A must see, inspirational classic!

Lionsgate does an incredible job with their steelbook releases. This isn't the most amazing but still looks great

This is one of the best war movies I have ever seen. It really portrays the main character as he really was and not as some Hollywood image. Very graphic depictions of combat, but it was simply awesome.

The 4K version of this movie is truly something to behold. This will be a movie you put on to show your family and friends that will convince them to run out and buy a 4K blu ray player for themselves.

my father fought in the south pacific in WW2, as a marine, in four campaigns. this helps me appreciate what he went through. what a great depiction and story of this soldier. well written storyline...

A great job again by Mel Gibson behind the camera again. This is not a movie for kids, but the truth of what the war was like for our service men fighting the Japanese. Really action pack battle footage.

Watching this movie in 4k with great audio on 130" screen is another level experience.

The best true story. Saving 75 lives without picking the gun in the war zone is just amazing. Salute to the patriot. Some don't like the war, but this story shows a different side.. Must watch.

We had seen this movie in the theater and wanted to get it when it was available for our home collection. Though having very graphic war scenes, it has a good story line and we found it to be uplifting.
