Bravery is not always about killing in a war.. this Movie is a magnificent true story that brings out the strength of the characters. Recommend it even for chicks.

Powerful true story. War is horrific and this movie did not spare the details. Still, it is people who must fight them and either be people of character or not.

There is just not enough words to descrivbe or tell how great of a film this is. Story, content, special effects, and cast. Trust I didn't regret my purchase.

This Mel Gibson directed movie is intense. It details the story of Desmond Doss the first conscientious objector to be awarded the Medal of Honor.

The only thing that I can say negatively about this movie is that a some points the violence is a bit graphic, other than that, this true story is very inspiring.

This is another one that starts out slow, then BAM! This is one for the ages. You will definitely watch this one multiple times Will make a grown man cry!

I really enjoyed Hacksaw Ridge. It was an incredibly true story of not only actions done in battle, but of a young mans struggle with himself and his values.

I had my doubts about this one, but was pleasantly surprised. It is not just a war movie. It has a great storyline. This was truly the movie of the year in 2016.

It is one of best WW2 movies I have seen. Surprised that we have not heard before about this Medal of Honor winner before. It is amazing what all he accomplished.

Hacksaw Ridge is an excellent, crisp looking 4K disc. Digitally shot transfer shows every detail of an excellently directed and well-made film.

Mel directs his fourth war epic. No one quite does war like Mr. Gibson. Was one of the best pictures in 2016.

This film tells a story that most can't relate to. Standing by your beliefs is rare in this day. Andrew Garfield shows his acting abilities and Mel Gibson has turned out another gem like Apocalypto. The movie can be tough to watch if you do not like violence, but that's what war is. Tough to imagine Vince Vaughn as a drill sgt. Recommend it overall.

This is an excellent WWII historical movie. Very well done.

It's about a hero without violence. But the Director doesn't hold back on the reality of a bloody gore war. Impossible to keep your eyes off the battle scenes.

I wanted to see this movie, but I did not want to pay to see it at the movies or via rent/stream. I found this DVD on sale with another item and I was stoked!

Another excellent film deserving of every bit of its success. I hope this puts Mel back on the map. Wonderful film of faith, conviction and the brutality of war.

If you like war movies you will love Hacksaw Ridge. The action in this movie makes Saving Private Ryan seem like a high school play. Great move to watch in 4k.

The movie starts a little slow but with purpose and when the action starts it is awesome nice to see Mel Gibson directing a quality film hope he does many more

My all time favorite WWII movie is Fury with Saving Private Ryan as a close second. This movie though competes with both those movies for favorite WWII movies
